On December 29, 2015 we move from Campanile Lyon Part Dieu Hotel and now we are at Novotel Lyon Part Dieu, our new hotel. We just have to walk to the other side. It is actually nearby, and if you wander why I need to move you have go back and read my previous review in ep. 5.1 hahaha. Well, it is really because of plan always changes back and forth. This is why we have to double work and get pretty tired.

Let's get started after we finish with the move, we take the train to the Hôtel de Ville station again. Next to the station is a beautiful architecture like art pieces. Honestly, I don't know anything about art hahaha.

And here is another photo.

I walk into a small alley which is next to that. The alley has so many Turkish restaurants and it is merged into the Place des Terreaux, which is the location of Bartholdi Fountain. Just opposite to the fountain, you can see the Musee des Arts de Lyon from outside as well.

It is really beautiful so here is anther shot.

After this photo, let me skip to the night part of today since I have several days to spend here. As I said, we focus on chilling and relaxing here. Tomorrow, I will take you to gather up what is left in Lyon.

On December 30, 2015 is the last day to stay in France because tomorrow I have to take the SNCF train from Lyon to Paris and then CDG to fly back to Thailand. It's kid of sad but we still have one day to spend here. Thus, let's complete the today's mission. I have been walking in Lyon for about 5-6 days and since just notice that there are the signboards written Only Lyon and I haven't got any photo with it yet. This means I will have no photo to show my friends that that I have really been to Lyon. The mission today is "to find these signboards written Only Lyon" I search on the Internet to find their locations and know that they are at Opera House, the Rhone River, Parc de la Tête d'Or and Musée des Confluences 2. The first place I have walked around really often but I have never found one.

I rush out of the hotel and get 1-day pass ticket to ride the bus line C1 in front of the station to Musée d'art contemporain de Lyon and Parc de la Tête d'Or. It is almost the end of the line and these all places are in the north of the city of Lyon.

It appears that I still can't find the signboard written Only Lyon though I am already in this garden.

I am about to give up because there is just one more place left to go. I don't know if they were moved to somewhere else.

I can't complete my mission here therefore I walk around to breathe in and fill my lungs with fresh air. Then I continue to go to to the Stade de Gerrand, a football fan like me can't miss this. I have to travel to the southern part of Lyon, it sounds like it's far away but it is just a short distance from here to the south.

To get to the field is not difficult at all, you just have to catch one of any metro lines then interchange to the Blue Line and take off at the Stade de Gerland station. Also, don't miss to walk around and visit the shop of Olympique Lyonnais.

If you have a map of Lyon in your hand, the left half of the map from football stadium is the site of the Musée des Confluences. You can take Tram T1 line and take off at Musée des Confluences station.

And this is the final destination to complete the mission of finding signboard written Only Lyon.

Please note that if you like to go inside Musée des Confluences, you have to line up very long for security check, you'd better spare enough time for this. From where I stand in this photo, you can see a very long line of people waiting on the bridge.

And finally my last hope destination does not disappoint me. I am super happy and almost in tears.

Lastly, I like to end this review with a photo of the fountain in town. I want to tell everyone that you can go anywhere you want to go. Do not close yourself with words such as no time, no money, do not know the language and directions. Do not let these limitations stop you from seeing the world. Please trust in me and thank you to everyone that follow me and my reviews from the beginning. Thank you from my heart and see you again next trip in February at Fukuoka, Kumamoto, Nagasaki and Yufuin. Please stay tune and follow my next review, bye bye.
