Where You Can Chill on Floating Resort at Kanchanaburi

This blog, we will take everyone to a Maldives-style air-conditioned water raft resort in Kanchanaburi at Lake Heaven Resort & Park. I'm sure that you guys won't be disappointed with the fun of water activities and the relaxation on the water raft.

From the parking lot, we  have to walk to check-in at the lobby. But don't worry about luggage, the resort provides luggage cart service to the raft so we won't have to walk far to drag luggage.

What are the activities of Lake Heaven Resort & Park?

There are both free and paid activities. The free activities are the many rides in Water Park, kayaking, and rafting. For the paid activities are like Jet-ski, Sofa Boat, Banana Boat, etc.

One of the must not miss here is the large slider which is approximately 3 stories high. You can get exhausted just by walking up. If you are a challenge lover, this is a must not  miss activity! 

And another highlight that should not be missed is the wet rafting activity which is so thrilling and very fun. The more people, the more fun. The activity starts at 4 p.m. every day. The staff will drag the raft into the middle of the dam with fun music. Then they will leave us in the water for about 30 minutes and take us back. The back and forth time is about an hour in total.  

Usually, we need to pay for the rafting but if you are booking with the promotion package from the resort, this activity will also be included.

Kayaking is also available for those who don't like  extreme activities. 

Or we can go have fun with the sofa boat, in which the boat will be dragged  to the middle of the dam. It might look like a comfortable ride, but so very thrilling. Give it a try if you have never experienced it yet.

Driving Jet Ski around Srinakarin Dam is also a fun activity for an adventurer.

There are 217 rooms in total, divided into 2 zones, land and water zones.

Let's start with the room that we stayed in. 

Dala Raft, can accommodate 2 people, the normal price is 3,500 THB, can add 1 extra person
It comes with facilities like an air conditioner, a TV, a bathroom, a water heater, a glass, a kettle, 3 in 1 coffee packages, a closet, and an umbrella.

Dala Raft is next to Water Park, the atmosphere is very good.

The room is spacious with a cool air conditioner. There is a private bathroom and full amenities.

Benjamas Raft can accommodate 12 people, can add 6 extra people, with 6 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms, normal price 18,000 THB.

Facilities include an air conditioner, a TV, a bathroom, a water heater, a glass, a kettle, 3 in 1 coffee packages, a closet, and an umbrella.

This raft has a private balcony area with a full view of the dam.

Kaew Chao Chom Raft, 2 stories raft, can accommodate 20 people, with 10 bedrooms, 10 bathrooms, can add 10 extra people, the normal price is 30,000 THB.

Rooms at Lake Heaven 2 (Newly Open Land Zone):

 

There are 2 types of accommodation, Rajapruek House and Rajavadee House.

The land zone is located before the parking area. It is within walking distance to the water park and restaurant, not too far. However, if you don't want to walk, there's a shuttle bus service too.

The land zone comes with a swimming pool for the customers who do not want to play in the water park.

Rajapruek House (Round shape) can accommodate 2 people, which have 22 houses. The normal price is 3,000 THB, can add 1 extra person. 

Facilities include an air conditioner, a TV, a refrigerator, a bathroom, a water heater, a glass, a kettle, 3 in 1 coffee packages, a closet, and an umbrella.

Rachawadee House (Square shape) can accommodate 2 people, can add 1 extra person, it has 50 houses. The normal price is 3,000 THB. 

Facilities include an air conditioner, a TV, a refrigerator, a bathroom, a water heater, a glass, a kettle, 3 in 1 coffee packages, a closet, and an umbrella.

Restaurant and Bar at Lake Heaven Resort: 

Room rates include 3 meals, breakfast, lunch, and dinner. So we don't have to go anywhere for food. If anyone likes to drink, then there is a bar to sit and chill as well.

Lunch and dinner will be a set menu. The taste is quite delicious. As for the breakfast, it's a buffet-style of which we can eat as we like.

This was our evening atmosphere, which was quite chilly and the weather was quite cool.

After dinner, we went to chill out at the bar.)

If you wake up early a bit, you will get to experience cool weather, with a thin mist that comes with the sunrise.
