If you are ready for my simple weekend trip of 2 days and 1 night, please follow me now.

1. Pang Sida Waterfall

It is the first stop for tourists and people in Sa Kaeo province to come to relax. There is a place to sit and eat papaya salad with family near the waterfall and under cool shade trees. There are also clean bathrooms and a pavilion for us to hide from the heat and the rain. The waterfall here is not very big, about 10 meters high, and water only comes in the rainy season.

2. To watch beautiful butterflies. It is said that "Pang Sida" is the land of butterflies in the Eastern part. There are a variety of wild butterflies of up to 400 species. We can either watch them at the butterfly watching area or in the deep forest. The National Park allows us to watch the butterflies at a place about a km away from the park office where a salt lick is made for butterflies to eat and at the Hin Dad Lan area in the deep forest of which we need to contact the staff to take us there by truck. I chose to go watch them in the forest. The best time to watch butterflies is between April and August depending on the weather. If the weather is nice and sunny, butterflies will come out to show off their beauty.

3. The viewpoint at km. 25. It is a popular viewpoint of Pang Sida National Park for watching the sunset (but of course I didn't get to see because it's the rainy season, haha). I was here for the pure and fresh air as well as the cool weather.

On the way to the viewpoint is still a dirt road, please drive carefully as there might also be wild animals coming out for food or walking by.

On the way back home, I also stopped by at the Rong Kluea market for cheap and good products.

Don't let our weekends ended up sleeping in a boring square room. But choose to go out to find something new for life. Just as simple as this, we will be happy.

After the Covid-19, let's go out to travel again.
