Hello, everyone! Today, I'm thrilled to guide you through a gastronomic journey in the northeastern part of Thailand, specifically in UdonthaniIf you ever find yourself visiting Udonthani, I'd like to introduce you to these eateries so you can experience them firsthand. Let's explore together and discover what these restaurants have to offer!

Firstly, my top two breakfast spots are 'Kings Ocha' and 'KAO PIAK SEN'. Both places serve similar Vietnamese-style dishes and are well-known in Udonthani. Kings Ocha (on the left) is renowned locally, while KAO PIAK SEN has earned a spot in the Michelin Guide 2023! If I were to recommend, at Kings Ocha, try their bread with sauce and Kow Griep Pag Mor( Thai steamed pork dumplings). As for KAO PIAK SEN, go for the Kao Piak Sen(Pork spare ribs rice noodles) and boiled rice. Feel free to explore more dishes and share your experiences of what you like!

Let's move on to "แม่จันทร์เนื้อย่างเกาหลี" (Mae Chan Korean BBQ) is my absolute favorite grill place in Udonthani. Back in high school, my friends and I used to love going there on special occasions. The highlight of this place is the unique and delicious dipping sauce that sets it apart from others. Plus, the prices are reasonable. You can get a set starting from 250 baht up to a jumbo set for 400 baht. The restaurant opens from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM (closed every Saturday and Sunday of the second week of the month).  https://maps.app.goo.gl/GPTJTq9uyNEP5TSk8?g_st=ic

The next spot is called 'S Bar B Q.' If you're in Udonthani, you absolutely can't miss this place. It's a well-known grill buffet in town, and the best part is it won't cost you more than 300 baht per person (This price doesn't include beverages). With a reasonable price, you will get a wide variety of options, including both meat and seafood, along with desserts, all included in the buffet. My favorites here are the crispy bacon and the garlic fried rice. If you're a barbecue lover like me, I highly recommend checking out this spot. Just make sure to come early because it gets super crowded later in the evening. The restaurant opens from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM every day. https://maps.app.goo.gl/ktCyMJYW7FoCaWc56?g_st=ic

Next up, it's dessert time! I'm super excited to share this with you because I'm a huge dessert lover. To cut to the chase, the first place I'd recommend is 'Beyond Cafe.' I love ordering hazelnut frappe – it's a mood lifter. The cafe offers a diverse menu with both sweet and food options. The cozy interior adds to the delightful experience, making it a top pick for satisfying your sweet tooth.   https://maps.app.goo.gl/ishLFitwbYRzpz9x9?g_st=ic (8AM-8PM)

Lastly, the two dessert spots are "Cafe in Law" and "Lamoon". Both places have distinct highlights. If you have a sweet tooth like me and enjoy intense flavors, I'd recommend Cafe in Law (on the left). The cakes here are rich and dense, perfect for indulging. Now, if you prefer lighter, more delicate cakes, Lamoon (which translates to 'delicate' in Thai) is your go-to. Cafe in Law offers a cozy mood, great for chilling or working, with charming interior decor. Lamoon, on the other hand, is a small, sweet spot – ideal for takeaways. If you're unsure about what to order, don't hesitate to ask the staff for their signature recommendations. You won't be disappointed!
