Location: Juldis Khao Yai J2 Hotel
This past Friday, Mom Pranom went on a trip to Khao Yai from November 7-9, 2014. She wanted to do a review of the different places she visited and update her friends.
For the topic of SR, let's expand on it so everyone knows. Many of you might be wondering what SR is and how it relates to Khao Yai.
The background is that we booked an iPhone 6 with the TrueMove H website, which allowed us to pick up the device on October 31, 2014 at CentralWorld (we actually used a SIM card from another carrier, but the booking was full before we could do so).
When we went to queue to receive the device, there was a staff member who recognized us as a reviewer and asked us if we were using True's SIM card. We replied that we were not using it, but only pre-ordered it with them.
She asked if I had any upcoming trips and if I was interested in trying out TrueMove H's SIM card and testing the signal like Nadech. If I was interested, she would give me a free 4G SIM card to use for 6 months with no obligations or monthly fees. However, after 6 months, the SIM card would expire. If I wanted to continue using it, I would have to choose a plan and activate a new service.
They just asked us to test the network signal while we were traveling and tell our friends about it honestly.
This is perfect for us, as we were already planning a trip to Khao Yai and were worried about the internet connection. We wondered if there would be a signal on the mountain and if we would be able to play online and update our Facebook. So we decided to try out their SIM card. And that's where the title of the review, SR, comes from.
This review will take you on a tour of various tourist attractions in Khao Yai and dine at several famous restaurants. We will also test the signal at various points along the way. Please note that we will not be mentioning or comparing the signals of other networks (although we have another network with us). It wouldn't be fair to compare them directly. We will only be checking the signal strength of TruemoveH. You can decide for yourselves whether the signal is good or bad and how strong it is.
Then let's go and watch it together.

We set off on Friday, the 7th, at almost 10 am, setting our sights on the first point to visit a temple to pay respects to the Buddha in Pak Chong.
Located on Khao Si Siao A, Khlang Dong Village, on the right side of Highway No. 2 (Mittraphap Road), at kilometer 150, there is a 2-kilometer access road.
This temple houses a large white Buddha statue in the posture of bestowing blessings, known as "Phra Phutthasakon Simamongkol" or "Luang Pho Khao" by the locals. The statue has a lap width of 27.25 meters and a height of 45 meters. It is made of reinforced concrete and stands prominently atop a hill 112 meters above ground level. On the left and right sides of the Buddha statue,
The curved staircase, shaped like a bodhi leaf, has 1,250 steps, symbolizing the number of arahants who spontaneously gathered on Magha Puja Day.
The Buddha statue is situated 112 meters or 56 wa above the ground, signifying the 56 virtues of the Buddha.
The hotel is newly built, about 2 years old, so the building is new and the rooms are clean and in good condition.
Then I went downstairs and asked to stop for lunch.
I recommend this shop, Maenam. Even though the service wasn't great today, I don't mind. Maybe the staff were tired. I forgive them.
We opted for the easy way down and back up on the cable car, as we're getting old and can't handle anything too thrilling anymore.
Some people play the loop car, slide down and then take the cable car back up for 150 baht.
There is a zipline going down and a cable car going back up, just like that.
The next morning, which was our return day, we checked out of the hotel and stopped by Khao Yai Panorama Farm.
Let's go see the mushroom farm together. It's interesting. There are staff to explain the steps. It's fun.
After watching the show, we tried the products made from mushrooms. They were delicious and unique.
This place also has a resort for accommodation, but there are only a few rooms, so you need to book well in advance.
Let's buy a farm tour ticket for 300 baht per person. There will be rounds.
But it was full, so I had to wait until the afternoon round, so I gave up because I was too lazy to wait.
Next, we stopped to buy corn here. Let me tell you, the corn here is very sweet and delicious.
There are a lot of people queuing to buy corn. It's really delicious, I can confirm that.
Done, I really hope it will be useful.
Finally, I would like to thank Pantip for being a great platform for us to share information and find useful information for independent travel.
Thank you to all my friends and fans who have always supported Maen Prathom.
I will try to make the review better, better.
