...The Chill Resort & Spa Koh Chang... As the name suggests, it's a resort with a relaxed atmosphere, though it may not be luxuriously decorated or filled with extravagant furnishings. However, I'm confident that anyone looking for simplicity and a comfortable atmosphere during their vacation will find it easy to appreciate. Starting from the Ao Thammachat Ferry Pier in Trat Province, it takes less than 40 minutes to cross to Koh Chang. Then, drive straight to "Khai Bae Beach" for about 30 minutes. Look to your right and you'll easily spot "The Chill".

...The Chill accommodation is very easy to spot, as it is located on the right-hand side next to the road... where you can turn in and park immediately. Then, enter the lobby area, unload your luggage, and sit down to let the breeze blow away the sweat and humidity. ...

...The atmosphere from the first time I walked in, I must say, has changed a lot. Because personally, I saw that the accommodation was built next to the road, so I thought it might be a bit chaotic and bustling. The front of the resort, although the sign is easy to see, doesn't really catch the eye. .. But when I walked into the lobby, it was quiet and peaceful. I saw green trees all around. The design and layout are modern and cool, no less ^^..

...Then, please ask the staff to deliver the luggage directly to the room first. As for now, I would like to take a quick look around the atmosphere for about 5 minutes ...

...From the picture, you can see a clean white building on the left. In the middle is a swimming pool with blue tiles that contrast with the building and are clearly visible and very clear. It is also interspersed with the green of the long lawn and concrete walkway. On the far right, there are trees planted along the walkway...

...Looking a little further, besides seeing the walkway, there is a long swimming pool that may be divided into zones according to the terrain. It goes all the way to the sunshade tied with white cloth, which is easy on the eyes. Before ending at the beach... which is now afternoon, the sun is preparing to move from the front of the resort to the beach on this side...

...This means that if you're lucky, you'll be able to see the sun setting over the horizon at the beach, with the sun and the water creating a sweet and romantic scene. But that's enough for now about our quick exploration of the area... Let's move on to the real room mode now.

...The Chill offers 4 types of rooms: 1. Splash Pool Access 2. Chill Deluxe 3. Sky Jacuzzi Suite 4. Pool Villa (The Pool Villa was not available on the day of our visit, so we were only able to photograph 3 types of rooms).

...Starting with the Splash Pool Access room, the name itself tells you that it has direct access to the swimming pool in front of the room. The room size is 50 square meters, which is just the right size, not too small and not too big. The color of the room is almost the same as the building, which is white. The room is decorated with different wall art in each room.

...Personally, I'm someone who likes things simple, clean, and easy on the eyes. So, when I came across this room, decorated in this way, I can say that I would be very happy to sleep in this room. 5555 However, the room I actually stayed in is not this one.

...The Chill Deluxe Room is the same size as the Splash Pool Access Room on the lower floor, which is 50 square meters.

...The atmosphere inside the room is the same as downstairs, both in terms of color scheme, decoration, and design. It's almost identical, just moved up to the top floor.

...On the balcony outside the room, there is a bed for sitting, playing, reading a book, and enjoying the breeze and the gentle sunlight. If you want to change the atmosphere from the air-conditioned room, this corner can also be another relaxing corner.

...Next, we move on to the Sky Jacuzzi Suite, which is 100 square meters in size, twice the size of the previous two rooms. The room is very spacious, with twice the floor space of a regular room. It is divided into different zones, so you can walk around comfortably without bumping into each other. The larger space makes the room feel more open and airy. The decor is still in the same concept as the previous rooms.

...The Sky Jacuzzi Suite also has a bathtub, along with a spacious balcony area that serves as a seating area for enjoying the breeze and the sky.

...Having completed the inspection of all three room types, although one was missing, the Pool Villa, which was not filmed... But overall, it can be concluded that apart from the cleanliness that all accommodations should have, the design and layout of the rooms are very good...

...Inside each room type, there is ample living space, not unlike the rooms in large hotels. ...The rooms are decorated in white, cream, and brown tones, with a few pictures on the walls to avoid the room feeling empty, but not too many to clutter it up. For me, it's a perfect fit with the overall atmosphere of the place.

...From what I've observed since arriving here, the most popular activities besides swimming in the pool and reading books are probably canoeing... which the accommodation also provides for guests.

...From what I can see from the menu, the food here includes both Thai and Western dishes. But from the photos I took, there are pineapple fried rice, stir-fried glass noodles with shrimp, and stir-fried tiger prawns with tamarind sauce (this dish is the best)...

...If the food is delicious, the atmosphere must be even better to make it even more enjoyable. At Chill Out Cafe, there is soft background music interspersed with the sound of waves and wind. It's a truly satisfying experience for both the mind and body...

...And the closer it gets to the evening, the more suitable it is for sitting, walking, breathing fresh air by the beach, or playing in the pool. It easily becomes a beautiful day. ..

...Let the wind blow for about two more hours before it's time to go home. From the one night I stayed, I have to say that it wasn't as relaxing as the name of the accommodation suggests. This is because there wasn't enough time... If I had more time, I'm sure I would have enjoyed it much more...

...The simplicity of the accommodation, along with the various design elements within The Chill .. For me, I must admit that I love it. Not too much, not too little. .. The resort is not so large that you can't walk around it all, although it may be a bit small, but compared to the number of rooms, it makes you realize that even if the accommodation is full, the number of people will not be too crowded. ...
