At the end of the rainy season, I had the opportunity to sit here, looking at the sky reflecting in the water, looking at the water reflecting the Khao Yai mountains.

The world around me seems to consist only of mountains, sky, water, and myself as I swim and float in this pool.

Behind me, to the left and right, are two rows of rooms in four- or five-story box-shaped buildings, with the mountains at my back and a view of Khao Yai in front. The space between the OPEC buildings is open and airy, catching the breeze. Looking beyond, there is another swimming pool with a cute two-story mini-bar next to it.

At this very moment, we find ourselves nestled in the heart of a natural haven, embraced by the lush embrace of the surrounding mountains.

Come on, let's take a tour of Botanica.

The entrance with the Botanica sign in bronze-gold metal on a black granite bar conveys a simple yet luxurious personality amidst nature.

Lobby

From the sign, walk up the stairs a little.

You will be greeted by a natural air-style lobby, with a cool breeze blowing from all directions, surrounded by greenery.

Welcome drink

And then you will find a cold herbal drink served with a thick, soft cold towel.

Botanica Resort is designed with a focus on nature, featuring an open architectural style.

The parking lot is designed to be located under the building, so you don't have to park your car in the sun. I like this. The residential building is divided into two main 5-story buildings, A and B. At Building A, floors 3 and 4 have a separate building that branches out a bit like a slingshot. There is a skywalk connecting the two buildings. The space under the building is dedicated to a green open space, combined with the sloping area in the middle between the two buildings, making it look spacious and airy. You can see the sky.

In addition, the front end also consists of a group of 6 more units, which seem to be Pool villas. They have two floors and a private swimming pool. I'm not sure if there are more units inside the sub-unit or if it's just one unit in the whole building. I apologize, I didn't go to see it... This is a picture from the balcony of the room I stayed in.

Launch

Let's take a lunch break first. After we're full, we can go for a walk and see the different types of rooms.

For lunch, we dined at the I-Chilli E-saan Fusion restaurant, located within the Greenery resort complex, which is affiliated with the Botanica resort that has been operating for many years.

Let's start with Appetizer

Okay, everyone's full. It's time to go see the rooms. Let's take a look at the first room.

This place offers a variety of room types, starting with the Studio room, followed by the larger Suite room, the Family room, and the Panorama room.

Each type is divided into two choices: the standard type and the type with a small pool, which is a pool designed with a waterfall flowing beside it, or a Plunge pool.

Let me take you on a tour of just a few of our room types, starting with the

BOTANICA SUITE with Plunge pool

This room is a suite, divided into 1 bedroom and 1 living room.

Usable area 130 sq m. If there is no pool, it will be a balcony instead.

The room is decorated in light tones with light-colored wood and curtains in the same color, creating a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere.

I like that the sliding wall door between the bedroom and the living room can be closed for privacy or opened to create a more open space.

The private pool has a channel where a waterfall flows out in sheets.

Botanica designs buildings with the concept of being as close to nature as possible, using inspiration from natural elements as creative ideas.

Let's take a look at the next type of room

BOTANICA FAMILY SUITE 2 bedroom

This is a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom unit with a large living room, covering an area of 97 sqm. Let's take a look at this type without a plunge pool so you can compare it to other types without a pool. As I mentioned, units without a pool will have a balcony instead, and the price for a unit with a balcony will be roughly the same.

The smaller bedroom has a twin bed and is separated from the living room by a partition. The larger bedroom has a king-size bed.

All rooms have en-suite bathrooms, while the master bedroom's bathroom has an additional bathtub. There is a spacious balcony connecting all rooms, including the master bedroom, the smaller bedrooms, and the living room. All rooms have doors that open onto the same balcony.

Surrounded by lush greenery, a feast for the eyes.

No matter where you look

Or look down below

This is the corner where I relax the most. I come here to sit comfortably, sip beer, and watch the Khao Yai mountain range with the clouds that flow, flow with the wind.

Tempo Restaurant

This restaurant is my go-to spot for two meals a day: breakfast and dinner. It's open from 6 am to 10 pm.

The morning atmosphere is calm, peaceful and shady, making it a perfect spot to enjoy a light and relaxing breakfast. The corner opens to the north and east, welcoming the warm morning sun and a gentle cool breeze.

The twilight atmosphere in the evening, with a blend of colors from two light sources, twilight and artificial lighting, combined with the architecture and surroundings that have been meticulously lit, made the dinner at night very enjoyable. I ended up drinking several bottles of beer.

Whether you're swimming in the twilight or continuing your drinks at the One-Up bar, this bar is open from 4pm to 10:30pm.

A dreamy corner, a seamless swimming pool. This is a swimming pool where you can lie down and float, looking at the sky and the water. It's also a great place to dip your feet in the water and sit back with a cold beer. Hehe.

And soon, around the end of this year, this place will open one of the largest water parks and amusement parks in Thailand.

After getting a taste of the amusement park's rides and walking through the construction site of the water park, I can say that if it's finished on time, you can mark it down on your holiday schedule for this winter. It's going to be fun for sure. Link to the page Scenical World
