The sun moves across the edge of the cliff, casting golden light on the mist.

The brightness of dawn is creeping in.

Dew drops flow down on the tips of the petals of the flowers.

The image you see before you is a happiness that can be perceived by the senses.

And this will probably be an unforgettable travel experience…

The mist on the high mountain in the memory when the sun rises

It looks different from the picture today, with elements that go beyond feeling.

The blooming flowers of various colors help to complete the dream picture.

Towering mountains embrace the joy of visitors who come to admire the mist.

In the fairytale land of "Huai Nam Dang"

My story begins in the early hours before sunrise.

From the campsite, I walked to the main viewpoint, which was about 1 kilometer away.

Passing a roadside pavilion with a number of tourists who are intently focused on something in front of them.

Amidst the tranquility, where only the chirping of crickets could be heard,

From the travelogue of the previous trip that ended in Mae Hong Son Province

I took the route from Pang Ma Pha District to Pai District to Huai Nam Dang National Park in Chiang Mai Province.

It was a long New Year's holiday weekend, and a huge number of tourists flocked here.

And I arrived quite late. The camping zone near the viewpoint was full, leaving only the camping zone far away.

That's why I had to walk quite a distance to reach the viewpoint this morning.

The picture shows a view from the trail, which made me feel incredibly excited when I saw it faintly.

I arrived at the viewpoint before sunrise and thought I was too early.

But it wasn't any faster than the other tourists.

A dreamlike image that is not yet clear, just waiting for the time when the sun shines.

And with many others who are waiting for happiness like me.

A large expanse of mist nestled in the embrace of the mountains.

A soft and touchable mist.

And with just the first touch, I fell in love.

I've heard quite a bit about the beauty of this place.

Online reviews, photos, and testimonials.

However, the reality that I saw was many times more magnificent and spectacular than that.

The sun begins to warm and enhance the clarity of the scenic view.

The image of various flowers is as beautiful as the name "Huai Nam Dang".

This is the moment everyone has been waiting for, including myself.

A photograph of people looking in the same direction, accompanied by the sound of a camera shutter.

The image of the sun rising above the mountain range, casting its light on the still mist.

For the story of this trip

From the first day at Mae Moei National Park, Tak Province

Winding along the western border, passing Mae Sariang and Khun Yuam.

And finally, we reached the end of the road at Ban Rak Thai, Mae Hong Son, on the second night.

From Ban Rak Thai, take the Pang Ma Pha - Pai route.

Entering Chiang Mai Province and ending up at Huai Nam Dang here.

I passed through the town of Pai, but I didn't even stop to experience the atmosphere of Pai.

For many reasons

The seven campsites were almost full when I arrived here in the late afternoon.

With the cold temperature at night and the heavy dew that made the tent completely wet.

From the very first day until now, there have been many stories for me to remember.

And I will probably have to remember the final chapter of this beautiful land for a long time.

Apart from the golden light bathing the sea of mist,

Still bathing in the admiration of many others.

Some people choose to capture their memories in photographs.

Some people choose to keep their impressions in their memories.

Apart from the golden light that shines to drive away the darkness

and the warmth of the mountains.

It also brings warmth to someone's heart.

The sun's rays began to increase the heat along with the number of tourists.

The number of people who have started traveling to admire the sea of fog has been increasing steadily.

Another option for many people

It must have been an overnight stay in Pai, then in the early morning, travel up to admire the sea of mist.

It takes less than an hour to travel.

If there is one image that is familiar on various media,

This must be the picture of the viewpoint from a high angle that many people are familiar with.

Standing here, time seems to slow down.

Don't rush to compete with time.

This allows us to have more opportunities to stop and look at the things around us.

In addition to the magnificent sea of mist,

The highlight of this place is the abundance of flowers.

Surrounded by a garden planted around the area.

The sun began to rise higher, and soon the fog would evaporate away.

All that remains is the backdrop of Doi Luang mountain and beautiful memories.

Sometimes happiness revolves around us.

But sometimes happiness is far away.

And sometimes, with fellow travelers who are strangers, the conversation is all about travel.

Sometimes it's better than acquaintances who only have business involved.

Like this trip, I traveled with new friends I met for the first time.

The content of the story, the conversation we had was just about traveling and traveling.

No work, no personal matters, and no need to worry about anything.

Make this trip full of happiness.

The distance of more than 1200 kilometers that I have traveled

With the view in front of me

It also makes the fatigue from the journey disappear without a trace.

I spent my time here until the morning, walking up and down several times.

No different from a child who is getting a new toy.

And it's probably time to go back and pack up the tent to continue the journey.

The same pavilion as before and the same path back as in the early morning.

But the feeling that came in, it felt like there was something new.

It might be because of the darkness in the morning that makes it difficult to see clearly.

In reality, the entire path we walk on will be carpeted with a blanket of fog below.

While we are on the high ground

Even the camping area, surrounded by a blanket of fog, was not spared.

And this is the charm of Huai Nam Dang.

This is the New Year period.

While some wild Himalayan cherry blossoms have begun to bloom around the campsite.

Perhaps because the summit of this high mountain is filled with cool breezes and fresh air.

This makes the Dok Ngang Phaya Suea Krong flowers bloom earlier than many other places.

Huai Nam Dang may not be one of the destinations to admire the Doi Sakura flowers.

However, the beauty can be seen all along the way from the viewpoint to the camping ground.

I returned to the viewpoint again in the morning after packing up the tent before continuing my journey.

To see the dream image more clearly one last time before saying goodbye.

The sun is so strong that I'm starting to feel hot. It's almost 10 am now.

Yet the blanket of mist remained still, refusing to dissipate.

Yellow and red interspersed with green leaves

With the mist and Doi Luang Chiang Dao as the backdrop.

Beauty that cannot be described by words and photographs

Pink cosmos flowers lined up in rows, alternating with other flowers.

In addition to its beauty, it also shows the care and attention.

An aerial view of the cascading slopes.

Sam walked through a garden of flowers along the way.

This is the path to happiness.

A path with stories for us to collect beauty along the way.

The journey...doesn't depend on which direction we walk in.

But what do we get from the path we walk differently?

...we can always learn and gain experience from every step we take...

A panoramic view as far as the eye can see in the last moments before the mist fades away.

I'm not sure when I'll have the chance to come back here again.

But I'm sure the good memories will stay with me forever...

From Huai Nam Dang, I took the route to Chiang Mai Province to Doi Saket District.

From Wiang Pa Pao District, Mae Suai District to Chiang Rai Province according to the map.

I traveled to experience the atmosphere of an event called the ASEAN Flower Festival.

Held on the banks of the Kok River in Chiang Rai city.

People from all over the world have come in large numbers.

With the same goal, which is to admire the beauty of various flowers.

The highlight of the event, whether this year or previous years,

The colorful tulips are truly a sight to behold.

The walkway will be adorned with various types of flowers.

There are many beautiful angles to capture.

There is a small pond decorated with flowers.

Amidst the cool and refreshing atmosphere beneath the shade of towering trees that lined the path.

I've been coming here for four years in a row. Even though the event is organized in a similar way every year, I still want to come.

Many people still misunderstand that this event is the same as the Chiang Rai Flower Festival.

This is not the case, as they are held in different locations, although not far apart, and the format of the events is also different.

Finally, I would like to thank everyone who has followed my travelogue series. See you again on another occasion. Goodbye.
