And then, the holiday came unexpectedly. We only had time to pack our bags and find a place to stay for the night. We traveled from dusk till dawn, sleeping wherever we stopped. After a four-hour drive from home, we stopped at a lakeside resort in Pran Buri district. The resort offers twin houses, with the larger ones costing 700 baht and the smaller ones 600 baht, including breakfast. The price is the same on weekends and weekdays. The beds were a bit hard, though. Phone numbers: 032825547, 0814675299, 0802114569. The owner, a kind lady, takes care of the business herself. How do I know? She talked my ear off for an hour. We finally left Pran Buri, but the journey was far from over.
This time, our destination is Thalang City, or Ko Chang Silon, or Phuket City. Before we arrived, we passed through Chumphon Province in the afternoon. I was a little curious about what was interesting in this province. Without further ado, we stopped at every place we passed. The first place we stopped was Ao Tung Sang Bay. Before the car even came to a complete stop, we made a wave-like sound effect, "Woohooowwwwwwww!"
Our eyes widened. In front of us was a high cliff facing the sea, with crystal-clear blue seawater as the backdrop. There was soft white sand on the ground.
We didn't waste any time, we ran, ran like we'd never seen the sea before. And this beach was all ours, there was no one around. The blazing sun reflected off the seawater, making it a bright blue. It was a little hot, but soon the wind came and cooled us down. We explored the beach for a while and found that the waves had eroded the rocks, creating hollowed-out caves. The sand was so fine that we wanted to sit and watch the waves roll in.
When I came to, we were already on our way somewhere else. We drove along the coast for a while and soon came to the Bang Son Canal Bridge. It was late afternoon and boats were starting to leave the mouth of the bridge, heading out to sea one after another.
Life here seems to flow at a leisurely pace, and it's impossible not to be captivated by the surrounding atmosphere. The villagers, enveloped by nature, have minimized their built structures to the bare minimum.
We stopped by Ao Phang Tak, a name that is both familiar and beautiful. What is it? We drove along the road and followed the signs. This is a beach full of horseshoe crab shells.
We met two playful puppies who asked for treats, so we got our new guides who played cheerfully with us on this beach. If you want to eat snacks, you have to wait. Hand signals, sit down, wait.
I'm curious, do they train dogs in every province? 5555+
There is a small fisherman's house over there. An old man is building a boat. The big boat has a faint smell of wood. We went to talk to the old man. He said that someone asked him to build a boat. His house is over there.
The old man with a southern accent tried to speak slowly so that we could understand. Thai is the same language, but it's really hard to understand. It's fast and rapid, which is a unique characteristic of the southern dialect. The old man said that he once sailed from Chumphon to our home. That's like taking a boat across the Gulf of Thailand.
It was cool. Soon we continued our journey and arrived at our destination at 10:30 pm. We had booked accommodation in advance. Our accommodation was Plus Mansion, located in Phuket city. The price was 550 baht per night for a single bed, with prices ranging from 550-800 baht. The phone number is 0-7652-5630. It's a hundred-baht accommodation with a lot of amenities, including a clothes drying balcony, hot water, wifi, and air conditioning.
It wasn't until midnight that I finally got to sleep, because I came without a plan and had to make one for tomorrow.
I'm going to sleep now. Tomorrow we have to conquer Phuket. I'm more tired than I am after a day at work.
