*** Old photos, new stories ........ I went there in February 2014. ***

I booked a round-trip flight to Chiang Rai with AirAsia for 850.70 baht for the New Year. When I booked it, I didn't know what I was going to do because I had been to Chiang Rai many times before. But it happened to be a Saturday-Sunday when I booked it, so I thought I would just go for a walk. So, a relaxing and comfortable trip was born.

Upon arriving at the airport, the car from our accommodation picked us up and took us to pick up the motorbike we had rented for a day of self-driving. After checking into our accommodation, we drove to have lunch near the clock tower and headed to Boon Rawd Farm, which was only a few kilometers away.

The drive wasn't too hot. Luckily, the weather had cooled down a bit on the day I went, so it was comfortable.

The beautiful yellow flowers are blooming in competition with each other.

It can get even more yellow.

Chiang Rai is currently full of these beautiful flowers.

A full stomach, drooping eyelids, sitting and enjoying the view, a green tea plantation, bliss.

Let's take a slow walk for a while. I'm starting to feel sleepy. I think I'll go back to my accommodation and take a nap in the air conditioning.

On the way back, I took pictures all the way.

Renting a motorbike is also a good option. You can stop whenever you want, wherever your heart desires.

Please give me a cool picture.

After arriving at the accommodation, we slept and woke up again at 5 pm. We washed our faces and went to Wat Rong Khun.

The temple is closed. Of course, we came here on purpose because the two times we came before, there were so many people. We could only take pictures of people. Today is our day. 55

Walking around taking pictures, it's so peaceful.

The sun is setting on the horizon. It's very beautiful right now, but I may not be able to capture it as well as I see it.

I captured so many beautiful memories with my camera. If my heart desires, I'll drive and walk around the walking street. Find something to eat. Along the way, I came across this. It's so beautiful. I wish I could stop time here.

The Chiang Rai Walking Street, also known as Kad Chiang Hai Ram Luek, is located on Thanalai Road and is a lively place to visit.

There are so many things to eat and use here. You can walk around and enjoy yourself.

Walking along, this must be the highlight, it looks like a lot of fun. I want to go out and dance, but my hands are full of souvenirs, it's not convenient. I won't miss it next time for sure.

Heading back home, my girlfriend has a stomachache. 😂 Driving around looking for a bathroom. It's kind of funny.

The next morning, we had breakfast and picked up our rental car right at the accommodation. The owner had arranged everything for us, and we didn't have to pay any deposit. It was great!

Today we will go to Doi Mae Salong. On the way, we passed the Black House Museum of Thawan Duchanee. It's mysterious and impressive.

Strolling around, there weren't many tourists (this place has opening and closing times, you know).

Let's continue our journey. We'll drive slowly and take our time. Once we reach the tea plantation, we'll follow in the footsteps of the movie and drama.

On a hot day, a glass of iced tea is refreshing. The tea leaf salad here is also delicious. (P.S. I couldn't sleep that night because of the tea, coffee, and tea leaf salad. I called in sick the next day because I didn't sleep until 3 am, lol.)

There are baskets for picking tea, please take pictures with them.

We sat down to eat, letting time pass by until we reached Doi Mae Salong. The atmosphere during the festival and now are completely different. 55

Let's go and pay respects at the Phra Borommathat Sri Nakarin Tharatit Mahasanthikhiri.

Most suitable

Before leaving, have some pork leg and steamed buns, or you won't make it.

Stop by for a photo, both sides are so beautiful.

Pick up the car at 8 pm....

We still have time. Let's go to the Walking Street on Sunday (San Khong Noi Road) and have some more Khao Soi.

This is the last picture. Thank you everyone for watching. I hope it was helpful in some way. Even if it was just a little, I'm glad if it was of any use at all.
