As the year draws to a close, the cool, crisp air always reminds me of Chiang Khan. My last trip wasn't enough, so I have to go again this time.

Let's take a photo before we reach Chiang Khan. Hehe.

It was a very long drive. Other people took 8 hours, but our group took 12 hours. We arrived at our first accommodation in the late evening, so we didn't have time to go to Kaeng Kud Khu. We just rested and slept to regain our strength. Hehe.

In the evening, I walked out to admire the view of the Mekong River during sunset. It was absolutely stunning.

The photos aren't very nice, this is all I could get.

And also walking the walking street, friends must have seen it often. So let's focus on eating instead.

Just as I was walking, there were fireworks.

After walking until late, we ate a lot of breakfast. Let's go to bed. Tomorrow, we will go see the sunrise at Phu Thok. If we have a car, we think it's better to drive ourselves. It's not far from our accommodation. And buy a round-trip ticket for 25 baht per person. You can get on or off any car.

There's only a little fog today, and I have to hurry back too. 55

After descending from Phu Tok, we looked for something to eat near our accommodation and then prepared our passports. We were going to visit Phu Pa Po (Fuji of Loei). Before going, we left our bags at our second accommodation, as we couldn't check in yet.

From Chiang Khan to Phu Pa Po, it's about 100 kilometers and takes about 1.30 hours to drive. It's a long way, but it's definitely worth it.

The tour guide fee is 60 baht per person for a 2-hour tour of 4 spots on an e-taek.

The journey itself is already enjoyable.

The driver was very kind and stopped for us to take photos as we pleased. Points 1 and 2 were the most beautiful, as there were still some sunflowers in bloom when we visited.

After that, we went to point 3 and point 4, which required a hike of about 200 meters. It was a bit tiring.

The top will be a 360-degree viewpoint where you can watch the sunrise and sunset. According to the website, those who come in the morning can also see the sea of fog.

After a break, I took the car back. I must say it was a pleasant ride. The views on both sides of the road were beautiful. I loved it.

Our second night's accommodation is an ensuite room. Isn't the house lovely?

Let's skip the walking street. Tomorrow at 6 am, we have an appointment to put sticky rice in monks' alms bowls. Please inform the accommodation to prepare it. It's convenient.

I packed a warm coat, but I didn't need it at all. The weather wasn't cold at all.

The monk will arrive around 7 am. Hehe.

It's delicious when it's warm.

After offering food to the monks, I went cycling along the Mekong River. There was a lot of fog, so I think there will be more fog at the sea than yesterday. It was so white that I couldn't see anything.

After breakfast, pack your bags and say goodbye to Chiang Khan. Stop by Kaeng Kud Ku to buy souvenirs before heading back to Bangkok. Goodbye, Chiang Khan. I will be back again if I have the chance.
