Whee...Traveling Krabi for 3 days 2 nights

Okay, let's get started... The next day, we checked out of Paradise Resort because we had rented accommodation at Railay for the night. We packed all our belongings and carried them with us on our trip. I recommend bringing a waterproof bag to protect your clothes from seawater...

We then headed to the Ao Nang Longtail Boat Operators Association, located on Ao Nang Beach. There, we checked out the island tour programs available, which cover various islands and offer different itineraries. Private tours are also an option. Prices range from 100 to 1,000 baht.

Note. A few hundred baht starts from 400 baht onwards. During our trip, coincidentally, we met a tour group... who wanted to.... share the boat fare. Since there were only 2 of them, they wanted to find... more people to join so that they could pay less. They got a boat for 2,000 baht, visiting 4 islands: Koh Poda, Koh Gai, Talay Waek, and Phra Nang Cave. So we agreed to join them. In the end, there were 5 of us on the trip, which was easy on the wallet.

When...we finally...got the boat, the long-tail boat fare, we also asked him to take us to Railay Beach. He also agreed...and everyone agreed...he took us to the pier, which is the center...of the long-tail boats.

Note: If you have anything that can protect you from the sun, please prepare it to the fullest. Sunscreen, apply to your face and body. Because even if I prepare it, it doesn't help at all. Our first destination is Koh Poda Island.

Note: Before boarding the boat, it is advisable to stock up on supplies, including drinking water, snacks, and even rice. This is because, upon arrival at Poda Island, although there are services selling instant noodles and drinking water (excluding food), the prices are quite high. A cup of instant noodles alone costs 40 baht. (It is understandable, as they have to transport everything, including water, as there is no freshwater source on the island.)

Therefore, to save money, travelers should buy as much as they can because they will stop for us to play in the water, eat here, before going snorkeling and seeing the Talay Waek next. Because if we rush, we won't see the Talay Waek because it will start to split around 3 pm. Oh... another thing to prepare is a mat to sit on and a towel.

Poda Island

Arrived.

It's beautiful, we also played in the water and ate rice. Because we made an appointment to leave at 1 pm to go diving at Chicken Island. The swimming area is specific, you can't swim anywhere. As for whether you can go down to the spot in the photo, you can, but they won't let you go far because there will be staff watching. If it's risky to go down deep, they will blow the whistle to call the tourists up.

Note: Upon arrival at Koh Poda, an entrance fee will be charged as it is a national park. This fee is only payable once at this point and costs 40 baht per person. When visiting other islands, your ticket will be checked and kept for you. This is similar to paying the national park entrance fee to the officials for the upkeep of the tourist attractions.

Crystal clear water

This driver who took us on a tour has good service, speaks politely, can negotiate prices and can drop us off. As for the contact number, we will find it and post it later.

This is a shallow dive. Underwater, there are some corals to be seen, but not many. And some of them are damaged. So, if you go to the sea, please help to conserve natural resources.

Note: It's not the most beautiful place, but it's acceptable. It would be better if there were fewer people, but that's unlikely since it's a popular tourist destination.

Next stop... heading to Phra Nang Cave Beach

Oh... before we left, we encountered a local at the Talay Waek. I don't want to say it, but it was huge. I've never seen one without a cage before. It was just the two of us, and it didn't go back. But the one who went back was us.

Arrived at...Phra Nang Beach

Note: There is also a story here. There is a shrine of the princess. People ask for jobs and love, and they will be granted. This matter depends on each individual. Oh, if you want to know the detailed history, there will be officers or people in the area who are cleaning and providing information. And what to offer after the request is successful is the amulet itself. Small to large sizes are available.

I'm here....I want to say that since I've been island hopping, this place has the most beautiful sea and the finest white sand.

After a quick bite to eat, we left Phra Nang Beach for Railay. I should mention that you can actually walk there, as they're right next to each other. Just walk around the back of the beach.

Oh... this place also has rock climbing activities. There is also Railay Beach. Anyone who likes which place can choose to use the service.

This is a climbing instructor... Most of the climbers I see are foreigners. As for us... we'll wait for the next time we're ready.

Note: At Phra Nang Beach, people wonder if it's beautiful and if there are places to stay. There are, but they have to be very, very, very rich people because the accommodation here costs hundreds of thousands of baht per night. The service is excellent, with pick-up and drop-off, as long as you have money. However, on the beach, anyone can play, regardless of who they are.

We then checked into our accommodation at Railay... Princess Resort & Spa (if I remember the name correctly). I just want to say that there are many accommodations available, ranging from cheap to expensive, depending on your preference. You can search for them according to your needs.

For this place, I would say it's decent... The downside is the limited breakfast options, just pumpkin and lotus root. As for the service, it's a mixed bag. Some staff are friendly, while others are not. This applies to their communication as well.

After checking in and taking a shower, we went out to find something to eat. Railay has a walking street where they sell food and tours. We walked in to find something to eat and chose a cheap restaurant. I recommend walking in deep, there are quite a few restaurants to choose from and there are fire shows too.

Around the hotel area... there are also shops selling things for you to choose to buy and choose to eat.

Take a walk.

Personally, I found Railay Beach to be underwhelming. It lacked the charm and excitement that many people rave about. The beachfront was unremarkable, and there wasn't much to do or see. If you're looking for a relaxing beach getaway or a place to swim, it might be a good option, but it didn't live up to my expectations.

And that's it... in one more day, tomorrow, we'll be heading back. As for what we have in store for you before we leave... well, you'll just have to wait and see. Because this time around, we're making sure to get our money's worth from our trip to Krabi... This time, because the average cost per person came out to around 6,800 baht per person in total.

Note: If you are going to the shore, before checking in at the hotel, ask if the hotel has a boat service to the shore or not. Because it will be free and will be on time. If you miss it, there will be a boat service to Ao Nang Beach and the Nopparat Thara Pier. The service fee is 100 baht per person. For those who want to go to Ao Nang Beach, you will get off at the beach, so you have to wade through the water a bit. But if you go to the Nopparat Thara Pier, you will get off at the back of the beach. There will be a floating buoy for boarding the boat. If you get off here, you can take a car to Ao Nang.
