Hello, this trip came about because Sai saw many friends and older siblings who like to eat at RIVA floating cafe.

I've always wanted to go there, so I decided to find a place to stay for the night so I could visit the temple the next day.

Trae chose to stay at "Pantip Riverside Resort & Spa", which is located in the same area as the RIVA floating cafe.

Travel

From Bangkok, you can travel to Pantawee Riverside Resort & Spa via two routes: Phetkasem Road

After getting off the bridge, make a U-turn and turn left onto Buddha Monthon Sai 7 Road. Continue straight and look out for the entrance to Wat Hom Kret on the right-hand side.

Or if you are using the Borommaratchachonnani Road (Pinklao-Nakhon Chai Si), turn left onto Buddhamonthon Sai 7 Road. You will see the entrance on the left-hand side.

Wat Hom Kret: Upon reaching the entrance to Wat Hom Kret, follow the road and turn right. Continue driving for a short while and you will reach the resort.

For more information about the route, please call 034-220815-6.

Thank you very much for the pictures from http://www.sawadee.co.th. The entrance is a bit deep, but once you park your car, the entrance is very shady.

Walk in and head to the lobby to inquire and check in. ... (Arrival at 13.00 hrs.)

The front of the accommodation entrance. You can walk in and take pictures even if you are not staying there. (I saw people walking in to take pictures.)

The entrance is super shady. Be careful when walking, walk in the middle of the bridge, I'm afraid it will break... lol

Sand's room is the last one inside. This room is a Lanna Villa. Sand bought a package.

Purchase Package 3 for 2,200 Baht for 2 persons • Lanna Villa accommodation for 2 days 1 night • Dinner Voucher worth 500 Baht

Including ABF breakfast, WiFi Internet, let's take a look inside the room, how is it?

The room is very spacious. It has a bed, a refrigerator, a TV (3,5,7,9), air conditioning, a coffee table for 2 people, and large windows that make the room look spacious and bright.

Looking up, there is no ceiling. The open space shows the bathroom roof, which is separate from the bedroom. There is a connecting path to walk to each other. The bathroom is very spacious and has a bathtub.

It looks a bit old, but it's not dirty. ...

Looking up at the sky, the view between the bathroom and the bedroom.

We're all packed and ready to go. Let's head out to RIVA floating cafe!

The place is packed! I arrived at the shop at around 3 pm and there were about 20 people in line ahead of me.

(Please wait for a regular table, not a table that extends into the river. There are only 2 such tables in the whole restaurant. The restaurant does not accept table reservations by phone.)

Disappointed, Sai decided to find something else to eat instead, her dream instantly shattered.

After leaving the RIVA floating cafe, I went back to my room to relax and wait for dinner. (I have a 500 baht dinner voucher.)

The Thara Riverside Restaurant is a resort restaurant. It is divided into two zones: an indoor air-conditioned zone and an outdoor zone with fresh air by the river.

(The kitchen closes at 7:30 p.m. That's what the staff told Sai.)

Trai chose to sit inside.

Recommended menu: "Stir-fried River Prawns with Chili and Salt" is very flavorful. It's delicious with hot steamed rice.

The shrimp are big and good.

The second menu, "Tom Kha Pla Salid," has a very rich coconut milk base. It's delicious with hot rice.

Summary: Ordered 2 dishes, 2 plates of rice, chilled water without ice. Total 530 baht. This meal, pay an additional 30 baht.

Before going to bed, I took a walk to enjoy the view for a while. I couldn't help but stop by RIVA floating cafe again. There were only a few people left.

But the sand belly is full, can't add anything more... lol

Good morning! This morning, we welcome you with an "American Breakfast" menu.

(Breakfast is available in only 2 menus: "American Breakfast" or "Pork Congee". You can choose only 1 menu, please.)

Have breakfast and pack your belongings to continue our journey. ... another destination before returning to Bangkok.

The Phra Pathom Chedi, originally called Phra Thom Chedi, is the Maha That Luang of Suvarnabhumi. King Rama IV believed that this Phra Thom Chedi might have been built when the emissaries of King Ashoka the Great came to spread Buddhism to Suvarnabhumi. This is because the original chedi was shaped like an inverted egg or a halved lemon, similar to the Sanchi Stupa. However, it has a prang-like top, which the King believed might have been added by a later ruler. This is consistent with the inscription on the second stone inscription (the inscription of Wat Sri Chum) of Phra Maha Thera Sri Saddha, which states that Phra Maha Thera Sri Saddha visited and restored the Phra Thom Chedi before returning to the city of Radh after completing his studies of Buddhism in Sri Lanka. King Rama IV therefore bestowed the new name Phra Pathom Chedi.

The picture above.

It's a shame that time is short and I have to travel back to Bangkok.

My personal opinion on "Pantip Riverside Resort & Spa" is that it's just okay. The price is too high for the service, which is average.

The resort has one receptionist who takes care of everything. The TV only has basic channels. As for the "RIVA floating cafe", I personally think it should expand its business.

I want to say that as I walked past some groups of customers, there were quite a few who were not okay with it. They walked deep inside, and everyone who went there hoped to chill out at the restaurant and have a meal.

Many people were disappointed and went home, like Sai (personal opinion).

Finally, thank you for following. If there is any mistake, I apologize here. See you again. Bye.
