First of all, I would like to say hello to everyone who is watching. During the 5-day holiday, many of you may have returned home or have plans to travel. Some of you may be working overtime. As for me, I have returned home for the 5-day holiday. As a person from the countryside, I can't help but laugh. My home and my workplace are not that different because my parents are still working in the fields and rice paddies. Since it is the rice planting season, this is a scene that I have been seeing since I was a child... But even so, I choose to return home.

Last Saturday, my wife was busy with a relative's wedding. I didn't have anything to do myself, and I had a car available. I remembered that there was a waterfall near my house that I used to visit with my friends in high school. It's the rainy season now, so I figured it would be a good time to go. I looked in my backpack and saw that I had my tripod, shutter release cable, and camera. I always bring them with me when I travel for several days, just in case I come across any beautiful scenery that I want to photograph.

By chance, my wife was free, so we rushed to the place in question, "Huai Luang Waterfall," or as it was colloquially known in the area in the past, "Bak Tew Waterfall." Later, the name was changed to Huai Luang Waterfall. Looking at the sky, the rain seemed to be on my side, waiting for me. 555. Okay, at most it wouldn't rain for two hours. I quickly found a plastic bag to wrap my beloved camera. My protagonist today was the D90 with its trusty companion lens, the 10-20 Sigma f4-5.6.

It took almost an hour to drive to the waterfall. Huai Luang Waterfall is about 50 kilometers from my house, or maybe not, I didn't look at the sign, but it should be around there.

The children were playing happily, I set up the tripod and was about to press the shutter when the rain started to fall. So I quickly packed my things into my bag and stuffed them in. I've been bragging a lot ^ ^ Let's take a look at the pictures.

Huai Luang Waterfall is located in Ban Kaeng Rueang, Na Chaluai District, Ubon Ratchathani Province, within the Phu Chong Na Yoi National Park. The waterfall is approximately 45 meters high and flows through the Phanom Dong Rak mountain range. At the bottom, there is a large pool of water. From the parking lot above, you have to walk about 200-300 meters to the descent point. You will see a staircase with a viewpoint where you can see the top of the waterfall.

The stairs are about 300 steps long. When I went down, I almost ran down. 555 When I went up, I really wanted a helicopter to pick me up. 555

The first leaf, I admit, I was very excited.

Huai Luang Waterfall has two levels. The picture shows the first level. I didn't go down to take pictures of the second level because the water flow below was quite strong.

Oh, I forgot to mention that there is another tourist attraction near the waterfall called "Kaeng Kra Lau". It is located on the right-hand side before reaching the waterfall. It takes about 300 meters to walk there. Unfortunately, I didn't have enough time to stop and take pictures. I will definitely remember next time.

Just dipping my feet in the water without even swimming is already so relaxing. I love this kind of atmosphere. ^ ^

Rows of wooden logs, stretching up the side of the cliff, represent another belief held by visitors to this place. It is believed that the logs supporting the cliff are symbolic of having people to support and help you wherever you go.

Let's go up.

This is another spot I'd like to highlight. Some of you may have been here several times but haven't found it yet. This spot is called "Pu Tew Cave" and offers a different perspective of the waterfall. You can also sit and relax here, it's quite enjoyable. ^ ^

The stairs leading up and down to the waterfall are another highlight of this place. They are winding and steep, making them a great way to work out your leg muscles. They are also a good test of endurance for people of all ages, whether they are young or old, or single or in a relationship (you'll know for sure by the time you get to the top!).

I finally made it! It was quite a climb, haha (you can tell from the tilted picture).
