Many of you may be like us, who, when we see airline promotions, want to buy plane tickets but don't know where to go. We've already been to all the provinces with famous tourist attractions, so we looked for a province with an airport that we haven't been to before. And so we ended up at... Nakhon Si Thammarat Province.

We are office workers with a fairly systematic life schedule. In the morning, we go to work, and in the evening, we return home. We have weekends off, and we are just ordinary salarymen. But this time, there is a significant variable and a turning point in our travels. That is... we just learned how to drive.

In the past, whenever I wanted to travel somewhere, I had to do my homework thoroughly. I had to research what public transportation was available to get to each place, how to get there after getting off the plane, which two-row car or bus to take, and where to get off. Because before, I couldn't drive anything at all, I had to rely solely on public transportation. This meant that I didn't get to visit many unusual tourist destinations. I only went to the places that were popular with other people, even if there was transportation available. It seemed too complicated. Every time I went somewhere, I had to do a lot of research.

Therefore, being able to drive is a turning point in your travel experience. Renting a car and driving from Nakhon Si Thammarat Airport takes just over an hour to reach your destination.

And I was absolutely right to come here........... Khiriwong Village

Khiriwong Village is located in Kamlon Subdistrict, Lansaka District, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province.

This village is a community nestled in a valley, where a stream flows down from the mountains, passing through rapids and over numerous rocks, forming a small river that runs through the heart of the village.

The tranquility and silence are one of the charms of this place. The rural lifestyle will make us feel even more immersed in the atmosphere, increasing it by 10 times.

This bridge over the river is the landmark of this place. The view is premium level, looking around the mountains, lush green overlapping each other as far as the eye can see.

Although it was the beginning of the rainy season when I went, there wasn't much water yet, but there was still a steady flow of water coming down from the mountains.

Both sides of the river are lush with trees all year round.

Cool, comfortable and makes us relax with the environment around us

The widest section is located in the middle of the village, with some points where roads cross the river to the other side. We can walk down and play there.

The water here is very clear. You can feed the fish, or if you're hot, you can go for a swim. The water is not too deep, and I saw children playing happily.

Don't worry about your clothes getting wet. There are some shops in the area that offer shower and changing room facilities.

Our accommodation for tonight is Kiriwong Riverview, a resort located by the river. We can sleep listening to the sound of the waterfall, so chill.

In addition, there are riverside restaurants here. If you don't stay overnight, you can also come and have a meal and enjoy the beautiful atmosphere.

The waterfall in front of our accommodation is a great place to go for a walk, take photos, or even go for a swim. The water is not too strong, and it is cool and refreshing.

There are not many activities to do here. Apart from walking and sightseeing, if you want to cycle around the village, there are bicycles for rent at affordable prices.

Or you could just lie down and soak in the water. The cool water might help you let go of the stressful things in your head, letting them flow away with the current.

Food and necessities are readily available, with several shops selling food and other goods. This also helps to generate income for local residents.

Khiriwong Village is a true embodiment of the SLOWLIFE concept.

It is said that this village has the best air in Thailand. If you have the chance, come and take a deep breath of fresh air here. You can stay overnight, play in the water, feed the fish, or go for a bike ride. I guarantee you won't be disappointed.
