Therefore, being invited to taste the food this time is considered another time that I feel connected to the atmosphere of the restaurant.

And the scent of memories that I had seen in dramas came to me, making me feel like I was actually in Korea... at this place.





"Kongju Restaurant, Pathumwan Princess Hotel"


How many people know that Pathumwan Princess Hotel has had a Korean restaurant for over 20 years!!!

You read that right, 20 years. That's right, even before the Korean drama craze hit our country.

In addition, this Korean restaurant is also called "Kongju", which in Thai translates to "princess", matching the hotel's name "Pathumwan Princess", which also means "princess".



Reading up to this point, I was impressed by the details of this place. From the front gate, there were staff dressed in Korean national costumes, which really made me feel the Korean atmosphere.



Upon seeing the restaurant's logo, I was greeted by "Madame Kim Hanna," who oversees the quality of the food here.


Madam said that since this restaurant opened,

"The shop's logo is a Korean crown, befitting its name."

The first thing that came to mind was the symbol of the Pathumwan Princess Hotel, which is also a crown. What a coincidence! As I stepped into the dining room, Madame, who was standing inside, smiled and raised her hand in a Thai wai.


Without hesitation, I immediately raised my hand to wai to Madame in response.



Upon entering the restaurant, you are greeted by a full-blown Korean atmosphere.

The interior design creates a sense of excitement before I even get to taste the food, which is said to be

Korean food with flavors adjusted to suit Thai people, using authentic Korean ingredients.



During peak hours, the restaurant will have a designated waiting area for new guests.



Before entering the dining room, there is a spacious hall that looks grand. It feels very comfortable and private.



As we arrive at the table, the first item on today's menu begins with

Fried Chicken with Chili (DAHK KANG JEONG)

This restaurant's recipe features crispy chicken.


And it has a slightly spicy taste. Madame said that this menu item has been available since the restaurant opened.

It can be said that this is one of the top Korean fried chicken restaurants in Thailand.

"Korean Ginseng Chicken Soup"


As it was served on the table, my nose was greeted by the aroma of ginseng emanating from the warm soup.


The cool feeling at that moment… almost warmed up immediately.

Inside the soup, in addition to tender chicken, there are also Chinese wolfberries, ginseng, and medicinal herbs.
