This post is from when I went out to take photos at the 100th anniversary of the Thai railway. I specifically wanted to capture the wear and tear on the steam locomotive parts, which are over 60 years old. On the day I went to take photos, I also had the opportunity to see many foreigners taking pictures of this steam locomotive train.

The steam locomotive was originally powered by firewood. However, the State Railway of Thailand developed it to use special fuel oil instead of firewood. This steam locomotive was manufactured in Japan in 1950. The State Railway of Thailand ordered it for use in 1949.
