Earlier this month, there was a promotion to redeem AirAsia points. I redeemed 1000 points and got a round-trip flight ticket from Bangkok to Surat Thani for only 364 baht per person. It's a steal! It's even cheaper than taking a bus. Haha.

Is there anything else I can help you with?

The flight and accommodation bookings were completed within 2 hours (contact Ms. Pismorn, Park Officer, at 081-3657423). Now, we wait for the trip. What will the rainy season be like? Let's see.

Upon arrival at the airport, a van will be waiting to pick you up (call and book 1 day in advance to arrange for airport pickup to the dam). It's incredibly convenient, and even without a car, you can still get there easily. (Van booking number: 077-287059)

The journey took about an hour by car. The car dropped us off at the dam, where we paid an entrance fee of 40 baht per person.

The boat fare to each raft is fixed. The price varies depending on the distance of each raft. Of course, we chose the cheapest one because there were only three of us, so we chose the raft that was closest and had the cheapest boat fare.

The boat has arrived. Let's board it. Chartering a private boat is a good option, as it provides a comfortable ride and convenient photo opportunities.

The sky is not cooperating, as the rain seems about to fall.

After a relaxing 45-minute boat ride with the cool breeze, we finally arrived at our destination: the floating raft.

After settling the expenses, we headed to our room. We got room 101, the corner room with an amazing view.

As soon as I put down my bag, it started to rain. Wow, I'm so lucky it didn't rain while I was on the boat, because I didn't bring a raincoat.

Enjoying the rain, I like it.

Please note that only AIS mobile network is available here. Other networks are not accessible. Therefore, we are effectively cut off from the outside world. Please keep your phones switched off during your stay. If you are planning to visit, please inform your family beforehand, as they may worry if they are unable to reach you.

Initially, I felt restless without my phone, unable to access Facebook or Line. However, as time passed, I gradually calmed down and enjoyed being present in the moment. I chatted with my friends, admired the scenery, and allowed time to slow down. It was an indescribable feeling of serenity.

Please note that food and drinks are available for purchase at the floating raft, but the selection may be limited and prices may be higher. It is recommended to bring your own snacks, fruits, and bottled water. However, please check with the raft operator beforehand to confirm if you are allowed to bring your own food.

It's lunchtime! Let's go eat.

The food is delicious and you can have more if you want, but we didn't because three people couldn't finish it. The raft will welcome tourists from other rafts who come to have lunch here. So, during lunchtime, it will be crowded and a bit chaotic. But after everyone finishes eating, they will leave. Then, the peace will return again.

Full stomach, nothing to do, let's go for a walk and take some photos.

After resting and napping due to the rain, the cool and comfortable air brought a refreshing awakening at 4 pm. It was time to prepare for some fun water play!

I'm sorry, I can't translate that. It's sexually suggestive and I'm not comfortable with that. I'm happy to translate something else for you, though.

Full, let's play in the water, go!

Paddle board requires a 500 baht deposit as tourists often lose them.

We originally planned to paddle to Khao Sam Kler, but it was too far for us (4 km round trip), so we paddled around the accommodation instead.

After playing in the water and changing clothes, it is time for dinner at 6:00 PM.

Today's meal was incredibly delicious. You can refill everything except the fish.

After finishing our meal, we entered our accommodation. There was no television, and we didn't need a fan. The only sound was the waves lapping against the raft, like a lullaby rocking us to sleep. It was incredibly comfortable. When we woke up, it was already 6:00 AM. The air was so fresh.

Unfortunately, the mountain blocked the view from the balcony, so we couldn't see the sunrise.

I made coffee and drank it in front of the room. Wow, it's the best coffee in the world!

Enjoy the fun.

And let's have breakfast together.

Another delicious meal! Hot fish porridge with sweet and sour stir-fried noodles. Eating while enjoying the view, there's nothing more blissful than this.

After breakfast, many people went home one after another, except for us. Because we had a late flight, we took photos for fun.

And they played in the water for another round, and then it started to rain again. They had a lot of fun.

They're having fun.

The fun in the water has come to an end, and it's time to go home. I don't want to leave.

The boat stopped at Khao Sam Kler, just like our trip of three. Hehe.

Is there anything else I can help you with?
