Readme before you journey
This year, I plan to embark on a solo motorcycle journey, following a predetermined route and capturing the scenery along the way to share with my friends. My itinerary includes Chumphon, Phu Thap Boek, Uttaradit, Ayutthaya, and Hua Hin.
Traveling from Chumphon in the morning, encountered rain throughout the journey. Additionally, road construction was ongoing for most of the route, from Chumphon through Phetchaburi, Ratchaburi, Nakhon Pathom, Suphan Buri, Chai Nat, and out to Nakhon Sawan, extending to Phitsanulok, covering a distance of 900 km in one stretch. Photos will be shared later, for now, enjoy these previously captured images.
Departing from Phitsanulok, the scenic road leads towards Phetchabun. The first unmissable photo stop along this route is Route 12.
Stop for coffee and food here. Take a few photos and then head to the old pit.
We did not stop at Pha Sorn Kaew because we were aiming for Phu Thap Boek in the evening and had to hurry to find accommodation. However, we still stopped at a spot where we could see the beautiful Pha Sorn Kaew from the roadside.
The road was rough on the way up, but we kept going. The weather was pleasant.
Continuing on, we found a charming guesthouse with a view of the front room. If there was fog, we would probably see it right in front of the house. We decided to stay here because it was beautiful and the price was reasonable at 1600 baht per night. (Photo taken with a mobile phone)

After capturing the sunset, I descended back to my accommodation, covering approximately 6 kilometers from the peak.
Let's run back to the accommodation because I've already spotted a restaurant with a great atmosphere next door waiting for us. Let's go!
Enjoying the meal while admiring the beautiful and romantic lights of the large resort. It's a pity I came alone. Romance can be enjoyed alone as well.
The restaurant is located opposite the accommodation, making it a convenient walk for dining.

Now that we are full, let's head to our rooms. Tomorrow, we will wake up to the sunrise.

Before going to bed, I asked for another leaf. The weather at Phu Thap Boek was perfect, cool and breezy. I left the door ajar and set the alarm for 5:00 AM to capture the timelapse and the morning light.

Although there was no fog due to the lack of rain for several days, we were able to see a round, red sunrise.

Evening light and morning light evoke different moods. As I run, I ponder this.
The advantage of traveling with Tong is that you will always make new friends along the way. We met these three girls, so we took pictures and played with them. We have models now!

So beautiful, I almost don't want to go back.
Moving on, farewell Phutubberg. I will hurry back to chase the fog. Although there is no fog to see today, it is still worth driving the big car here.
After calculating the route to go down the Nam Nao River and continue on, the plan was changed to go down the Phu Hin Rong Kla National Park because there are many more tourist attractions. The long-term goal is to sleep in Uttaradit.
The scenic road with exciting curves winds down from Phu Thap Boek to the intersection. From there, a path leads to Phu Lom Lo, a viewpoint overlooking three provinces. It's a pity that the tiger lilies haven't bloomed yet; we'll have to wait another month. But since we're already here, let's enjoy the view for now.
Accompanied by the friendly fellow travelers we met this morning, we have arrived together. I now have a model.
The ascent is quite challenging, but the view is breathtaking. The open space offers a panoramic vista, with meadows perfect for capturing stunning photos.
The journey with the three girls from Bangkok was full of fun and laughter.

Farewell, Phu Lom Lo. I will be back again. I really want to see the tigers roaming freely across the plains.
Next, we will stop at the Button Rock Field in Phu Hin Rong Kla National Park. However, on the way, we came across a sign for Sarapat Pha, so we decided to take a quick detour.

Don't miss the beautiful scenery and fresh air. It's definitely worth the long journey.

From this point, down to the Pun Hin Lan, the sign says it will take more than 2 km to get there. I don't think I have enough time. My goal is Uttaradit. I'll come back again. Send another leaf before passing Pun Hin Lan. Separate from the younger siblings and continue on my own.
After a long drive down from Phu Hin Rong Kla National Park, we exited at Nakhon Thai, Chat Trakan, Tron, and arrived in Uttaradit in the late evening. Exhausted, we found a place to stay. Upon waking the next morning, the first thing that came to mind was Khao Phat Phak, a delicious and healthy breakfast dish.
Next, they came to pay respects to bring good luck and fortune, because the journey was still long. They came to pay respects to Phraya Phichai Dab Hak.

The original plan was to leave Uttaradit and head to Chiang Mai, Pai, and Mae Hong Son. However, due to a minor car problem, I had to return to Phitsanulok for repairs. This means I will have to change my plans for this year and will likely only be able to reach Phitsanulok. I had coffee at a newly opened shop near the Lotus intersection. The shop is very beautiful, and I am now heading to Phitsanulok.

As dusk approached, the car repairs were finally completed. We decided to push on, driving straight from Phitsanulok at 4:00 PM and arriving in Ayutthaya around 8:00 PM. Ready to continue our exploration tomorrow, we turned our attention to the ancient city.
However, let's jump ahead to the quiet morning. During the night, the eerie silence discouraged me from venturing out alone, leaving me with a sense of unease.

It would be a pity if someone could guide me around. I would like to stay here for about 3 days. I love taking pictures of old towns. It gives me goosebumps.

I have taken many photos and would like to share them with you. Here are a few highlights from each location.
Continuing from Ayutthaya, I left around noon and drove straight back to Chumphon. I encountered rain and road construction throughout the journey. Due to time constraints this year, I could only travel this far. I will return again to explore more of this historic city of Thailand.

The final page before hitting Chumphon in the dark due to road construction throughout the trip. This trip, I and my younger brother Tong (ZZR 1100 CC, registration 999), an 18-year-old car with over 100,000 km on the odometer, and this trip in 2015, a total of over 2,500 km, went well. Last year, I was alone with one car, 3500 km from Chumphon to Khao Kho, Nan, and Inthanon, but I have never been here before. Day 1: A Solo Motorcycle Journey to the North - A Two-Wheeled Adventure from Chumphon to Phitsanulok
This is the first day of my solo motorcycle journey to the north. I'm riding from Chumphon to Phitsanulok, a distance of approximately 500 kilometers. I'm excited to explore the beautiful scenery and experience the local culture along the way.
I started my journey early in the morning, leaving Chumphon and heading north on Highway 41. The road was in good condition, and the traffic was light. I enjoyed the ride, taking in the lush green forests and rolling hills.
After a few hours of riding, I reached the town of Khanom. I stopped for lunch at a local restaurant, where I had a delicious meal of pad thai. After lunch, I continued my journey, riding through the Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park. The park is home to a variety of wildlife, including monkeys, deer, and birds. I saw several monkeys along the way, and I even spotted a few deer in the distance.
I arrived in Phitsanulok in the late afternoon. I checked into a hotel and then went for a walk around the town. Phitsanulok is a charming town with a rich history. I visited the Wat Phra Si Rattana Mahathat, a beautiful temple that dates back to the 14th century.
I'm looking forward to continuing my journey tomorrow. I'm planning to ride to Chiang Mai, a city in northern Thailand. I'm sure it will be another great day of riding.
