Most houses are still wooden houses. Old-style houses are hard to find.

In reality, traditional wooden houses, with their intricate wood panels, roofs, and balconies, are becoming increasingly rare. However, with careful renovation, they can be transformed into charming restaurants, cafes, or homestays, as demonstrated by numerous successful establishments. One such example is a renowned restaurant in Photharam, located near the train station. By venturing slightly to the right after exiting the station, you will encounter this hidden gem.

Nowadays, many cafes are decorated with vintage items, creating a stylish and unique atmosphere.

This restaurant has ample seating, both indoors and in the garden. The cool air and the sound of the waterfall create a relaxing atmosphere.

The air conditioning is cool, there's free wifi, and there are places to charge your phone. It's very comfortable. I had a hot mocha and some bread, which came to 85 baht. The shop is actually very easy to find. Just exit the train station and walk 300 meters to the left.

As we visited on a weekday during the day, the market was relatively quiet. The young adults were at work, leaving mostly local residents. We only saw children after school, when the evening market began to open.

And among the pets guarding the houses, there are many Chinese people in this area, so they don't raise many large animals.

As dusk approached, we hurried to the renowned Mae Lek Black Tofu shop to purchase some for our journey back to Bangkok. The shop is conveniently located; upon exiting the train station, turn left at the intersection and continue walking until you reach it. It was the first establishment we encountered, but we opted to explore other options before returning.

He said we could go into the kitchen and take pictures of how they boil the eggs. He explained that they boil them for three days before they can be eaten.

I kept one piece and brought it back to Bangkok. I kept it for a night and ate it the next morning. It was so delicious, like eating steamed eggs. It was soft, tender, and delicious. I ate it as a snack.

I wandered around the area for a while, not venturing far. After some time, I sat down at the train station to wait for my train, chatting with an elderly woman who was also waiting. She was traveling alone as well and told me she had been to Prachuap Khiri Khan for a reunion with friends she hadn't seen in decades. She was now on her way to Ratchaburi.
