Durian season is almost over. Let's have a quick review before it's gone.

This year, I have eaten very little durian because the price is extremely high. In my neighborhood, it costs 160 baht per kilogram. Oh my god, it's super expensive! They say it's because of the severe drought this year. Well, I guess I can wait until the price goes down.

Time flies... Oh no, I can't take it anymore. I really want durian. I bought 1 fruit/ 130 baht/kg / Total price 380 baht.

The customer expressed disappointment with the product, stating that it was advertised as having a soft outer shell and a tender interior, but upon receiving it, they found it to be unpleasantly hard and inedible. They also mentioned the high cost of the product, adding to their frustration.

Until one day, a beacon of hope appeared... (a friend of my younger sister)

"My friend sells durian at the Or Tor Kor market. Would you like to go and try some?"

" How much is the lottery ticket, brother? "

"They sell it for 80 baht per line."

"Wow! 80 baht per piece... Is that durian or gold? It's so expensive!"

"80 baht per kilogram for the flesh only, not the whole fruit. You can choose and taste the durian before buying. They will select the type you like. You don't have to worry about whether you will enjoy it or not. Moreover, the durians are carefully selected and of premium quality."

"Want to give it a try?"

Upon entering, one is immediately struck by the impressive selection of meticulously chosen, high-quality fruits.

Upon arrival, I immediately searched for the durian stall. Found it! As promised, the "Mon Thong" variety was 80 baht per kilogram. At that moment, I was ecstatic. The durians were a radiant yellow, a sight to behold.

Before you choose, let me know what kind of content you prefer.
Look, I've cut it in half and still haven't found any seeds.

In the end, I brought home half a kilo for 400 baht... It was so delicious, the meat was completely different from what I buy at the market near my house, to be honest.

We've got the durian back home. Let's see what else is at the market.

The market was winding down when I visited, but there were still a few Chinese tourists around. Chinese people really love durian.

The restaurant offers a wide variety of savory and sweet dishes, including fresh seafood.
