Many people, when thinking of the Thai seas, will inevitably think of the southern seas, which are renowned for their beauty. This attracts both foreign and Thai tourists, generating significant revenue for the tourism industry.

This time, we had the opportunity to travel to Krabi, a province renowned for its stunning coastline, considered among the most beautiful in Thailand.
We received a voucher from participating in an activity on the Perspective program on Channel 9.
The episode, "Gojong, Krabi City | Grassroots to Five Stars," aired on April 10, 2016.
The voucher entitled us to a 3-day, 2-night stay at the Srisawara Casa Hotel, including breakfast.
Airport transfers were included, and we could choose one island tour. Initially, we opted for a sunset cruise.
However, due to the monsoon season during our visit, the boat trip was canceled, so we chose the Koh Hong tour instead.

We departed from Korat on 31/10/2016 at 11:30 PM by bus from Bangkok to Nakhon Ratchasima. We got off at Don Mueang Airport. We arrived at Don Mueang Airport at around 3:00 AM. The check-in counter opened at 3:35 AM. Our flight was at 5:35 AM. This time, we chose to use Thai Lion Air and got a promotion price of 425 baht/person/trip.

Arriving at Krabi Airport at approximately 7:30 AM, the flight was slightly delayed due to weather conditions with heavy rain. After collecting luggage, we boarded a waiting van and headed directly to our accommodation.

The accommodation is conveniently located in a central area, close to several key landmarks.
It is within walking distance of the Black Crab Square, Vogue Department Store, and the fresh market.

The Srisawara Casa Hotel is a small hotel with simply decorated but elegant rooms. All necessary amenities are provided.

Upon arrival early in the morning, we were able to check in immediately due to room availability.

Day 2: Koh Hong Tour

We had breakfast at 7:00 a.m. The hotel served a typical American breakfast.

It's time for our trip! The car is waiting to take us to the pier at 8:00 AM.

The journey to the pier takes approximately 30 minutes. Upon arrival, tourists register and wait to be called to board their respective vessels. This central location serves as a gathering point for tourists before they disperse to various destinations.

The long-awaited moment has arrived. The officer announces the names of the tourists who will be boarding the ship.

Let's head to Koh Hong.

Our first stop is Koh Hong.
Koh Hong is a great place for snorkeling, and the park rangers offer free snorkel masks to visitors.

Disembarking from the boat, we walked towards the beach. Be sure to maintain your balance, as the walkway may be slightly uneven.

Head to the Lagoon

A lagoon is a large, shallow body of water separated from the sea by a narrow strip of land. It is typically formed by a barrier island or reef, and is often connected to the sea by one or more narrow inlets. Lagoons can be found in a variety of coastal environments, including tropical, subtropical, and temperate regions.

Koh Lading, also known as Paradise Island, is another beautiful island with fine sand and opportunities for snorkeling.

We will have lunch here.
The staff will distribute one lunch box and a bottle of water per person. (Free drinking water is available throughout the trip.)
The lunch box will contain garlic chicken/fried egg/and plain rice.
The taste is quite delicious. International tourists can easily eat it.
Tea/coffee/cake are also available.

Departing from Koh Lading, we head towards Koh Pak Bia, the final stop of our Koh Hong tour.
Koh Pak Bia is a small island located behind Koh Hong, where visitors can swim and, during low tide, walk across the sandbar to the other side of the island.

Before departing, the staff distributed watermelon to the tourists. Some foreign tourists even ate 3-4 pieces, which seemed to be a great way to cool down.

Upon arrival, the boat returned tourists to the pier where they had boarded earlier in the morning.
Two-row vehicles were then used to transport tourists back to their respective hotels.

Overall, we were very satisfied with our tour of Koh Hong. The tour duration was appropriate, and the staff were friendly and helpful, offering to take photos for us throughout the trip. They also provided informative explanations about the various tourist attractions.

We arrived back at our accommodation around 3:00 PM after our island tour. We took some time to relax.

I walked out to find a coffee shop nearby and found one not far from our accommodation.

Next, we visited Wat Kaew Korawaram, a temple located in the heart of Krabi town.

Krabi is a province that impressed us with its many factors.
The sea is beautiful, the cost of living is considered low compared to other tourist provinces.
It is a peaceful city, the people are friendly, and the food is delicious.
This trip was a great way to recharge our lives.
And it is a province that if we have the opportunity, we will come again.
