From Bangkok to Na Ton Chan: A 500km Journey

The journey from Bangkok to Na Ton Chan covers approximately 500 kilometers.

Starting from Bangkok, follow Highway 32 (Asian Highway) through Ayutthaya, Ang Thong, Sing Buri, Chainat, Uthai Thani, and Nakhon Sawan.

Continue onto Highway 117, passing through Phichit and Phitsanulok, towards Sukhothai.

Pass through Kong Krailat district and onto Highway 102 (Uttaradit - Si Satchanalai).

After passing Si Satchanalai district, turn left at Ban Tuek intersection and enter Ban Na Ton Chan.

You can take a bus from Mo Chit to Si Satchanalai District, Sukhothai Province, and then have your accommodation pick you up.

Nestled amidst rolling hills, Baan Na Ton Chan is a haven of pristine nature and fresh air.

This will make us feel refreshed and relaxed during our stay, and there are also many interesting activities for us to do during our stay.

Let's start with the accommodation. The Baan Na Ton Chan Homestay has a total of 18 houses.

Each house is unique, offering a glimpse into the local way of life, including their eating and living habits.

A Culinary Gem: The Unique "Khao Phip" of This Region

At the Tourist Service Center, Talad 3 Krae, the dish is similar to noodles, but the vegetables, glass noodles, and eggs are steamed and wrapped in dough.

The soup is poured over the dish, and the taste is delicious. It is recommended to eat it with the toppings, which are very rich.

In the same area, there will be a mud-fermented fabric production site and a community OTOP product distribution center.

Tourists can purchase the famous products of Ban Na Ton Chan to take home with them.

Observe the weaving process at Ban Na Ton Chan and discover another local wisdom, the "Barno dolls".

This is a toy invented by "Tawong", which we can buy as a souvenir and also use as a toy to exercise our fingers.

After a tiring bike ride, you can relax and rejuvenate at the "Spa Baan Tung," where you can enjoy a long and comfortable massage.

After a relaxing massage, we can enjoy an evening bike ride to watch the sunset over the fields.

The view and atmosphere are excellent. If you come here, it is recommended to take pictures and capture the atmosphere in the middle of the field like this.

It evokes a sense of relaxation and contentment, thanks to the surrounding atmosphere.

For guests staying here, a traditional Khantoke dinner is provided.

This involves ascending to the "Huai Ton Hai Viewpoint" to witness the morning mist and sunrise.

To reach the viewpoint, we must wake up and depart at 5:00 AM, then take a vehicle and hike to the destination.

The 800-meter uphill climb took 45 minutes, which was quite tiring for someone like me who is not a regular hiker.

It is recommended to prepare yourself and bring appropriate clothing, as the walk is quite long and there are a lot of mosquitoes.

Although we missed the opportunity to witness the sea of mist, we were still rewarded with breathtaking mountain views and a light mist, making the journey worthwhile.

The enjoyment doesn't stop there. Upon reaching the viewpoint, we can sip hot tea, coffee, or other beverages.

In the local wisdom of this place, a bamboo cup will surely give you the feeling of being at Baan Na Ton Chan.

Don't even mention people, even dogs get it!!!

The experience is further enhanced by enjoying a meal served in bamboo cylinders while taking in the breathtaking mountain views, making it an unforgettable and truly delightful breakfast.

The atmosphere here is so captivating that I don't want to leave.

After arriving, we stopped by Aunt Sengiem's garden house. I think the view from this house is amazing.

Surrounded by mountains and trees, you can sleep, read a book in a hammock, and relax. It would be a great way to clear your mind and connect with nature.

This is another favorite homestay that I would like to recommend to my friends to experience.

This initiative provides local residents with employment and income-generating opportunities, fostering economic empowerment within the community.

From early childhood to old age, this has become an example that many areas would like to adapt.

To provide new tourist attractions for people who are interested and want to relax in this way to experience.

In my personal opinion, if anyone wants to escape the hustle and bustle of the capital, I recommend coming here.

Here, you can fully relax in a pristine environment, surrounded by breathtaking natural landscapes and rolling mountains.

Moreover, there are interesting activities for us to do during our stay at an affordable price. However, we will get happiness and fun in return.

The people in the community are lovely and friendly. I still need to find an opportunity to go back again to experience the sea of fog here.
