**"Homestay"** is becoming increasingly popular among tourists who love nature and want to experience local life firsthand.

This type of tourism allows us to experience a local atmosphere, where we can stay, eat, and explore in a traditional way.

It aims to create jobs for local people and develop sustainable communities and villages.

This is another interesting option for those who enjoy nature-based tourism.

The journey from Bangkok to Sukhothai takes approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Before the plane landed, we could see the **Thung Talay Luang**.

The sacred heart-shaped land was magnificently created.

From the airplane, the view is stunning. If you're flying in, I recommend sitting on the left side of the plane.

This trip, we have a friend who volunteered to be our guide. We'll be comfortable and definitely won't get lost! 555+

Arriving early in the morning, our stomachs were rumbling, so we decided to grab a bite to eat.

Wait a minute, I heard you just ate on the plane. :p

We stopped for a bite to eat at "Krua Sukho" restaurant. It was right by the airport exit.

This restaurant offers a healthy menu featuring organic vegetables, ensuring they are free of harmful chemicals.

The vegetables are homegrown and harvested on-site as part of Sukhothai Airport's organic farming initiative.

Affordable prices, visually appealing dishes, and a variety of intriguing and unique menu items.

A light breakfast set with rice sprout water is a delicious and unique option.

**Baan Na Ton Chan:** Initially, this village was only known for its renowned mud-fermented fabric.

Subsequently, local residents have formed a collective and established a homestay for tourists to stay.

Under the supervision of Aunt Sa-ngiem, the president of the group, who joined forces with local villagers to establish it.

This will make us feel refreshed and relaxed during our stay, and there are also many interesting activities for us to do during our stay.

Let's start with the accommodation. The Baan Na Ton Chan Homestay has a total of 18 houses.

Each house is unique, offering a glimpse into the local way of life, including their eating and living habits.

A Culinary Gem: The Unique "Khao Phip" of This Region

Nestled in this region lies a culinary treasure: the "Khao Phip," a testament to local ingenuity and a dish exclusive to this area. This unique creation, born from the wisdom of the local community, offers a taste unlike any other.

At the Tourist Service Center, Talad 3 Krae, the dish is similar to noodles, but the vegetables, glass noodles, and eggs are steamed and wrapped in dough.

The soup is poured over the dish, and the taste is delicious. It is recommended to eat it with the toppings, which are very rich.

After a relaxing massage, we can enjoy an evening bike ride to watch the sunset over the fields.

The view and atmosphere are excellent. If you come here, it is recommended to take pictures and capture the atmosphere in the middle of the field like this.

It evokes a sense of relaxation and contentment, thanks to the surrounding atmosphere.

For guests staying here, a traditional Khantoke dinner is provided.

After watching the sunset, we returned home to relax and enjoy the evening atmosphere. We admired the birds and trees, immersing ourselves in the tranquility of the twilight.

Eagerly awaiting their meal, the group had worked up quite an appetite after a long day. Understandably, they were famished! 555

The next morning, the village will host another unmissable activity!

This involves ascending to the "Huai Ton Hai Viewpoint" to witness the morning mist and sunrise.

To reach the viewpoint, we must wake up and depart at 5:00 AM, then take a vehicle and hike to the destination.

The 800-meter uphill climb took 45 minutes, which was quite tiring for someone like me who is not a regular hiker.

It is recommended to prepare yourself and bring appropriate clothing, as the walk is quite long and there are a lot of mosquitoes.

Although we missed the opportunity to witness the sea of mist, we were still rewarded with breathtaking mountain views and a light mist, making the journey worthwhile.

The enjoyment doesn't stop there. Upon reaching the viewpoint, we can sip hot tea, coffee, or other beverages.

In the local wisdom of this place, a bamboo cup will surely give you the feeling of being at Baan Na Ton Chan.

The atmosphere here is so captivating that I don't want to leave.

Pleasant atmosphere? Really?

No!! The way down is very far, I'm tired of walking 5555....

(Just kidding, the view is really beautiful, especially on days with a sea of fog, it's amazing)

After arriving, we stopped by Aunt Sengiem's garden house. I think the view from this house is amazing.

Surrounded by mountains and trees, you can sleep, read a book in a hammock, and relax. It would be a great way to clear your mind and connect with nature.

This is another favorite homestay that I would like to recommend to my friends to experience.

This initiative provides local residents with employment and income-generating opportunities, fostering economic empowerment within the community.

From early childhood to old age, this has become an example that many areas would like to adapt.

To provide new tourist attractions for people who are interested and want to relax in this way to experience.

In my personal opinion, if anyone wants to escape the hustle and bustle of the capital, I recommend coming here.

Here, you can fully relax in a pristine environment, surrounded by breathtaking natural landscapes and rolling mountains.

Moreover, there are interesting activities for us to do during our stay at an affordable price. However, we will get happiness and fun in return.

The people in the community are lovely and friendly. I still need to find an opportunity to go back again to experience the sea of fog here.
