Located in Rak Khao Resort, Camp Son, Khao Kho District, Phetchabun Province.

If traveling from Bangkok, pass through Lom Kao and Wat Phra That Pha Sorn Kaew.

Turn left at the Camp Son intersection to enter Khao Kho. Continue driving past the BN Farm.

At the intersection, turn left and follow the GPS coordinates.

Alternatively, you can follow the signs for "Phu Pha Bat" which is located in the same direction.

Run straight along the path until you reach the fork. Turn right to go to Phu Pha Bat, and turn left to go to Rak Khao Resort, as shown in the picture.

The access road to Rak Khao Resort is a dirt road. Small cars may need to avoid potholes, but large vehicles can easily pass through.

The accommodation is approximately 10-15 minutes from the entrance.

The atmosphere is excellent, offering privacy and tranquility. The accommodation boasts beautiful flower arrangements, adding to the serene ambiance.

Our rooms are brand new, having just been completed.

The room is fully equipped with amenities, including air conditioning, TV, refrigerator, water heater, and free Wi-Fi access.

After a tiring day of exploring and taking photos, we decided to have dinner at the same place, as they offer food services for their customers.

The taste of the food is considered okay, and the price is reasonable. For those who are staying here, I recommend it for dinner.

During the winter season, the atmosphere is cool, making it ideal to enjoy the meal in your room.

The day I went, the wind was very cold, about 16 degrees Celsius. I was shivering as I ate my meal.

Waking up to the cool breeze from the front of our room, the atmosphere is very cold. This is the first cold wind of the year that we have experienced.

A must-do activity for visitors to Khao Kho is to experience the breathtaking sea of mist.

Windmill Viewpoint, Ban Phet Dam

This area offers a breathtaking panoramic view of Khao Kho, with rolling hills and a spectacular sea of mist.

Phra That Pha Sorn Kaew Temple

This viewpoint is located near the Pinolatte shop, offering stunning views of the mist-covered mountains, the surrounding hills, and the iconic Wat Phra That Pha Sorn Kaew temple.

On a clear day, with the sunrise as your backdrop, you'll feel like you're in paradise.

Another spot where we will take you to see the beautiful sea of mist is Wat Kong Niem.

This spot offers another stunning vista, showcasing hillside residences interspersed with towering mountains and framed by elegant coconut palms.

Having admired the stunning views of the sea of mist, let's now turn our attention to the breakfast offerings at this establishment.

The accommodation at Rak Khao offers breakfast options such as rice porridge, tea, coffee, and Ovaltine, which perfectly complement the cool atmosphere.

A short walk uphill from the accommodation offers a view of the Wat Phra That Pha Sorn Kaew temple.

The morning light falls on the mountains behind, creating a beautiful view. If there is fog on any day, it will be even more stunning.

After breakfast, we took a leisurely stroll and snapped some photos before checking out to continue our exploration elsewhere.

During our stay, we visited the area near our accommodation (behind the check-in point, as shown in the image above).

Sunflowers are being planted in this area, and when they bloom, it is expected to be a beautiful spot for taking pictures.

After checking out, we drove to Baan Phet Dam.

To take pictures and visit the flower garden at the windmill field.

Cosmos and winter flowers are in full bloom, making it a perfect time for photography.

Before returning, we will stop by to pay respects at Wat Phra That Pha Son Kaew, but on the way up we saw a newly opened coffee shop.

Beautifully decorated with an inviting atmosphere, I decided to stop by and try Le Bonheur Cafe to quench my thirst and rest my weary legs.

The interior of the restaurant is beautifully decorated and inviting, offering stunning views of the mountains and surrounding areas of Khao Kho.

The restaurant offers food, drinks, and bakery items. From what I've tried, the food is delicious.

Prices range from tens to hundreds. Feel free to choose and enjoy.

A short drive from the coffee shop, we arrived at Wat Phra That Pha Sorn Kaew.

We stopped by to make merit and take photos before heading back. The temple is beautifully decorated.

And now, we have reached the final part of this review. Let's summarize our findings on Rakkhao Resort.

Overall, I consider this accommodation to have a very good atmosphere because it is located in a secluded corner of Khao Kho that few people get to see.

This creates a peaceful and private atmosphere, with the accommodation surrounded by mountains and offering 360-degree views.

To ensure a truly rejuvenating vacation, we sought a tranquil destination devoid of bustling crowds.

If there is fog someday, it will be a great view. Because when I come out of the room, I will be able to see each other.

The room rates range from 900 to 2,200 baht, which is considered affordable for the atmosphere of mist and the romantic setting.

Access may be challenging for smaller vehicles. I was able to enter with a Honda City sedan, but proceed with caution.

It is highly recommended to stock up on snacks, milk, butter, and other food items before entering.
