"The path to dreams 1,864 curves"

**Doi Mae U Kho Bua Tong Field**

During November, one of the must-visit tourist destinations in Mae Hong Son Province is the Bua Tong Field at Doi Mae U Kho in Khun Yuam District. Here, Bua Tong flowers bloom in full splendor across the entire mountain, resembling a yellow carpet covering the hills, visible from afar. After driving through numerous curves, the sight that greets you is truly breathtaking. "Wow, I drove through over a thousand curves for this!"

**Getting There**

**Route 1:** From Mae Hong Son town, drive along Highway 108. At kilometer 201, turn onto Highway 1263 and continue for approximately 12 kilometers. Turn onto the Ban Nangiew-Ban Hua Hu road and drive for another 14 kilometers to reach Doi Mae U Kho.

**Route 2:** We took this route from Doi Inthanon, turning towards Mae Chaem. Many people say the road is quite challenging, but we found it enjoyable. From Mae Chaem District, Chiang Mai Province, drive along Highway 1263 (Mae Chaem-Khun Yuam) until you reach the intersection for Ban Nangiew-Ban Hua Hu, a distance of approximately 76 kilometers. Turn onto this road and drive for another 14 kilometers to reach Doi Mae U Kho.

Accommodation recommendations:

Camping is permitted on Doi Mae U Kho.

Alternatively, for those who prefer private accommodations, there is a nearby resort called Suan Doi Mae U Kho. However, advance booking is highly recommended as it tends to be fully booked. Unfortunately, we were unable to secure a reservation for this trip and opted for a hotel in Khun Yuam district instead.
