"When life feels meaningless, go out and help others."
This trip was a continuation of our previous trip where we and our friends went hiking and backpacking to visit the students at Kru Mod's school. Before we left, P'Tiw told Kru Mod that if we had time, we would find an opportunity to invite friends to do another project. Now that the time is right and everyone is available, we have gathered friends and members from various fields to join us on a trip to visit the students. As it is now the rainy season, vehicles are prohibited from entering the area. We have already submitted a letter of coordination to the Khu 3 Ban Pong office for our hike.
Note:
The school has clarified that they do receive a government budget for school lunches. However, the high transportation costs of bringing dry food from Sangkhla Buri town to Laiwo School, which is located in a remote area, make it difficult to provide dry food for the students. The school is located over 20 kilometers away from the town center and can only be reached by crossing a mountain or using an off-road vehicle. During the rainy season, travel between Laiwo School and Sangkhla Buri town becomes even more challenging, making it impossible to transport dry food for the students' meals.
Teacher Mod continued by saying that after someone shared the story of her and the students of Laiwo School online, many people contacted her. However, she did not answer most of the calls because she was often teaching. Additionally, there is only one point with a mobile phone signal, so she apologizes to everyone.
The following is a summary of the dry food and supplies that Teacher Mod has requested for donation to be used by the students:
- Rice vermicelli/Canned fish/Instant noodles/Glass noodles
- Ingredients: seasoning powder, onions, garlic
- Dishwashing liquid
- Essential household medicine/wound cleaning equipment
- Umbrella/Boots/Raincoat/Mosquito net/Candle
- School uniforms/underwear for girls and boys
- Football/Volleyball/Sepak Takraw ball
- Clay/Crayons
For those interested in donating or inquiring about further details, please contact Khru Mod at 098-2699-697 or Facebook: Duangtawan Chaiyaphob.

They had to search for it for a long time before they found it. The grass was very overgrown, causing painful scratches on their legs.
