Travel

From Bangkok, take the BTS to Ekkamai Station >>> Walk to Ekkamai Bus Terminal.

We opted for a van service, with a fare of 100 baht per person. Our destination was Robinson Department Store, Sriracha branch.

The travel time is approximately 2 hours.

Take a tuk-tuk or motorbike to "Charoen Pier" as "Koh Loy Pier" is currently closed for renovation.

"Koh Sichang" is located in the Gulf of Thailand, off the coast of Si Racha district, Chonburi province.

"Koh Sichang" holds historical significance as a royal retreat for three monarchs: King Rama IV and King Rama V.

And King Rama VI

Note: The original text is in Thai and refers to King Rama VI of Siam (now Thailand). The translation is concise and maintains the original meaning.

The majestic lighthouse signals our arrival.

For transportation within the island, we use the "Skylab car" service. The general fare for a round trip is 250 baht.

The tour will take you to 4 of the island's most important tourist attractions.

For this trip, we stayed on the island for one night. Therefore, we rented a car for two days at a cost of 550 baht.

Our first stop today is

"Tham Khao Phang Beach" is located on the western side of the island. It features a curved bay with a wide sandy beach, fine sand, and clear water, making it ideal for swimming.

"Tham Khao Phang Beach" is observed to have a significant number of foreign tourists. Some are sunbathing, while others are swimming.

In addition, "Tham Khao Phang Beach" offers a variety of restaurants with stunning ambiance.

After we were full, we continued exploring. The top is a viewpoint. From this angle, you can see a high-angle view of "Tham Khao Phang Beach".

After exploring until we were tired, we called for a "Skylab car" to pick us up.
The second place is "Phra Chulachomklao Royal Residence".

Due to King Rama V's fondness for the island, he ordered the construction of the first royal palace on Ko Sichang as a summer residence.

The palace was named "Chudadhuj Rajathan" after the king's son, who was born on the island of Si Chang.

"Green House by the River"

Historically, King Rama IV frequently visited Ko Sichang by steamship and stayed overnight on his royal vessel.

Without constructing a permanent residence, a wooden rest house by the sea, known as the "Green House," already existed at the time.

It has been renovated and converted into a coffee shop to serve tourists.

"Ruang Phongsri" serves as an exhibition space showcasing the royal biography and history of prominent figures who played significant roles in Koh Sichang's past.

Continuing along the path, you will encounter the base of the "Phra Thinang Monthathan Rattanarot".

This structure was dismantled and relocated to Dusit Palace, where it now stands as the "Wimanmek Mansion".

I continued walking and enjoying the view.

The "Saphan Atsadang", a stunning white wooden bridge that stretches out into the sea, is a sight to behold.

The "Saphan Atsadang" bridge served as a royal landing for King Rama V upon his return from a state visit to France.
**Within the "Phra Thinang Chuthathut Rajathan" palace grounds, there are many other interesting places to explore.**

It is recommended to allow ample time for your journey.

Next location: "Khao Yai Shrine".

"The Shrine of the Great Mountain Lord" is located on a mountain far from

The Thew Wong Pier, located on the northern side of the island, is a sacred site revered by the inhabitants of Koh Sichang.

"Khao Yai Shrine" is a cave that has been converted into a religious site.

From the "Khao Yai Shrine", you can clearly see the view in front of "Ko Sichang".

The fourth location, "Khao Khad Viewpoint," is situated on the backside of "Ko Sichang Island."

"Khao Khad" features a bridge extending to a promontory, offering stunning panoramic views and a breathtaking sunset experience.

"Khao Khad" features a beach of smooth, round stones of various sizes.

After a long day of exploring, we will be spending the night at Pari Hut on Koh Sichang.

This is the "Skylab car", our vehicle for this trip. Contact us to rent a car for a tour around the island.

We have arrived at our accommodation for tonight.

A trendy accommodation on "Koh Sichang". For more information, please contact "Khun Nuch 091-5149156".

The room is spacious and can accommodate three large adults comfortably.

The bathroom lighting is somewhat dim, but the resort provides electric lanterns for your convenience.

The ambiance surrounding the resort is serene. As I amble along, I explore the area.

The property also features a swimming pool.

The day was filled with enjoyment, as I strolled along until the sky darkened unexpectedly.

What a pity! I was going to come here to watch the sunset, but I'm really unlucky... 555
I'm hungry now, so let's go find something to eat. For this trip, we rented a "skylab car".

We have asked our senior staff to provide additional assistance. The price is negotiable.

"Ruen Ai Talay Koh Sichang" is a restaurant recommended by Ms. May (Skylab driver).

Shrimp omelet menu, fluffy omelet, delicious.

The highlight of the evening on "Koh Sichang" was worth the extra money we paid for transportation.

"The 7-color lighthouse" looks amazing (I may not have captured all the colors, as some changed very quickly).

Subsequently, May led us to admire the high-angle view of Ko Sichang at night.

Photographed from above the "Mandala of the Buddha's Footprint." I regret not being able to come up during the day.

This location is not included in the four stops of the Skylab tour.

** Visitors are advised to bring a flashlight and be accompanied by a local guide when ascending at night, as the area is unlit and extremely dark.

I slept soundly last night. This morning, I woke up, showered, and got dressed. Now, let's go find something to eat.

The entrance and exit of the resort.

Before boarding the ship, we will make a stop at Somewhere on Koh Sichang.

We originally planned to stay here for another night, but due to unforeseen circumstances, we need to leave now. We would like to grab a snack before we go.

And next time, I'll stay here. I'm looking forward to it.

We have finally arrived at the port.

Ticket purchased, preparing to return to Bangkok.

Upon disembarking at Tha Charoen, you will be greeted by waiting taxis.

We can negotiate the price. There are three of us, and the tuk-tuk driver charges 20 baht per person.

We got off at "Robinson Sriracha", just like on the way here.

Then you can take a van from there. Get off at Ekamai Bus Terminal, just like on the way there. Thank you for following. See you again.
