Hello again! This is my second blog post on Readme, where I share my travel adventures in my own unique style.

Today, I'm taking you on a trip close to home (my own house, haha!). Our destination is **Nang Nim Waterfall**, located on the beautiful island of Koh Samui in the heart of the Gulf of Thailand.

In my previous blog post, I took you on a mountain adventure to hunt for the Milky Way in the distant province of Lamphun. This time, I'm offering a more relaxed escape to a small garden, perfect for a refreshing break from the heat.

The model for this trip is "Aem Sri", a beautiful friend.

From the review of Lamphun Province, the first review of Kananoy itself.

Aem Sri flew directly from Bangkok to Koh Samui.

To visit Kanan (Kanan has moved to Koh Samui for two years)

Kanan, who has become a local girl, knows every nook and cranny, so she is a guide.

Take your girlfriend on an Unseen trip without Google.

In this blog, Kanan would like to skip the details of traveling to Koh Samui.

I think it's easy to find it everywhere.

This is the way up to "Khao Pom" in Taling Ngam Subdistrict. The landmark at the entrance of the alley is the Chevrolet car center.

When you see the Chevrolet center, turn into Thup Taemee Alley.

(There is also a sign at the entrance of the alley indicating the way to Tan Nim Waterfall.)

Continue straight along the road that gradually ascends the hill, and you will encounter a military checkpoint.

Don't worry, you can drive through. The soldiers are friendly. 5555

After passing the first curve, you will see the view as shown in the picture. Park your car on the side of the road.

You can stop and take a photo like Aem Sri. It's beautiful.

Beyond the mountain, which the camera cannot capture

because it is backlit and Kana is stupid and doesn't know how to set it up.

It makes it impossible to capture the sea view beyond the mountain. You have to come and see it with your own eyes. 5555

The motto of Koh Samui "Beautiful coral reefs

Clear seawater White sandy beaches Lots of coconuts"

Is it really a lot...ask your heart. 5555

This is a photo of a durian tree. I opened the car window and took a picture with my phone.

The durian orchard is located by the side of the road (on a mountain) and is very close.

The question is... can I just reach out and pick one?

The answer is... no! Even though it's close enough to touch, it's also close enough to jail. 5555 (just kidding)

Follow the mountain road straight ahead.

(There are signs to the waterfall all the way, so don't worry about getting lost in the forest or mountains.)

Pass the durian orchard, the coconut forest, the cliff, the ravine, and the distant sea view.

We have finally arrived at "Nong Nim Waterfall".

When you arrive, there will be a minimart to sell you water and snacks to cool down.

On the right is a minimart, but on the left is full of trees.

And what kind of tree is this?? Aem Sri was surprised, so she went to take a closer look. She stared at it like this for a while. 5555

"Jade Vine"

This is the name of this beautiful colored tree. Next to this tree, there will be a tree of the same type, but it is red.

We will call it "Garnet Vine". (Suddenly looks like a knowledgeable gibbon) 55555

Walk back to the front of the minimart. There will be a long flight of stairs leading down to the waterfall.

Before entering, Khana asked the staff at the minimart, "How much is the entrance fee?" The staff replied, "It's free."

(Since there was a sign with the entrance fee, Khana asked first.

But the staff didn't charge her. It's probably an old sign.)

Upon descending the stairs, we encounter a moss-covered landscape, indicating significant humidity.

The dense forest surrounding us is enveloped in a cool, damp atmosphere, creating an ideal environment for moss growth.

Despite the moisture, the path remains non-slippery, allowing for comfortable exploration even in sandals.

Khana and Aem dip their hands into the refreshing water, reveling in its coolness.

A gentle breeze provides a welcome respite from the heat, making this an ideal spot for relaxation.

The scene cuts to a rainy day, with rain falling on the window of a car.

Kanna had the opportunity to visit this waterfall again, this time with another group of friends. However, it was raining that day (not heavily).

This gave her the chance to see that when the water level is high, the Tan Nim waterfall becomes one of the paths through which the water flows.

Zooming in on the rock surface reveals not only moss but also a multitude of miniature plants.

From the first waterway point, there will be a path for us to continue walking on the right-hand side. Walk straight ahead and you will see a stone house like this.

The first time I saw it, the song "คู่ครอง" by Kong Huayrai came to mind.

I immediately thought of the serpent goddess. 5555 There is also a large snake-shaped stone carving on the stairs.

If this were a location for a TV series, it would be perfect as an underwater city.

Stop playing and keep walking. 5555 Keep walking.

We started to enjoy watching the "rock art", which are rocks that have been carved into various animal shapes. They don't look out of place in the natural surroundings.

They look strange and beautiful in a harmonious way.

The moss followed us everywhere and turned everything green. Every picture we took was green like this. 5555

This image shows the location where Aem Sri is standing. It is a stone courtyard where carved stones are displayed. Visitors are welcome to walk around and take pictures.

The deeper you walk, the smaller the waterfall will be.

But it flows continuously along the way, with the sound of water flowing softly with us.

With a good natural atmosphere, the air is cool and comfortable.

The eyes look at the rocks in various shapes, which is good for the heart.

Along the way, we stopped to take pictures with the rocks and sculptures, which was a lot of fun.

The deeper you walk, the denser the forest becomes.

The greener and cooler it gets, with chlorophyll everywhere. 5555

Feel free to relax and stay as long as you like.

If I weren't worried about being rude, I would take a nap right now. Haha!

This is a perfect local getaway, a quick escape from the heat, a true relaxation experience. It's easy to forget the world and just enjoy the peace and quiet.

Now, let's get down to business. As you walk (almost) to the end of the path, you will see the stone carvings and stucco sculptures as shown in the picture.

According to the history of the waterfall, it is called "Tan Nim Waterfall"

because it was originally a fruit orchard, a durian orchard owned by Mr. Tan Nim.

Mr. Tan Nim was passionate about stucco carving and stone carving.

From his passion, he started doing it without any formal training.

He did it out of his own passion and studied and tried it himself with determination.

Until it became so many sculptures like this.

And all of Mr. Tan Nim's sculptures were brought to be displayed in the waterfall.

or actually in Mr. Tan Nim's garden itself.

For an easy and relaxing waterfall trip, escape the heat and visit "Tan Nim Waterfall" on Koh Samui.

We did not incur any expenses during our visit and did not spend much time there, just enough to explore and get a feel for the place. It was simply a life experience.

As for fuel costs, I'm not sure how to calculate them, as we only used a tiny amount. Stay tuned for our next blog post, where we'll reveal our next destination on Koh Samui.
