Lipe Island Tour, Satun - Sealection

Lipe Island, Satun Province, is renowned for its breathtaking beauty, as many have heard.

I only recently had the opportunity to experience this at the age of 30. Where have I been all this time? Haha!

Based on my research and information gathered from the internet,

"It is understood that traveling here is quite difficult. Transportation is not very convenient."

The island may not be as comfortable as you'd like.

I believe there are many people who have not yet come and who think the same way.

Today, I would like to share my travel experiences from this trip with my friends.

This trip, we began our journey with Nok Air, which offers 5 flights per day from Bangkok to Hat Yai.

To avoid wasting time at the airport, we opted to check in online via the website prior to our departure for convenience.

Nok Air domestic flights check-in counters close 45 minutes before departure.

We opted for a flight to save travel time for our 3-day, 2-night trip. Limited vacation days, you know!

To reach Koh Lipe, you must take a boat from Pak Bara Pier in Satun Province.

For this trip, we opted for a tour package with Sealection, a 3-day, 2-night island hopping adventure to Koh Lipe.

They will take care of everything for us, from transportation from the airport or Hat Yai city center.

From Pak Bara Pier to Koh Lipe, including accommodation on the island.

This offers a convenient option, eliminating the need for complex planning.

We just need to prepare ourselves, our hearts, and our full prom attire for this trip, haha!

On the way to Koh Lipe, there will be two stops for photo opportunities.

The first stop was Tarutao National Park.

We will stop here for approximately 15 minutes to take photos and soak up the relaxed atmosphere of this island.

White sandy beaches, crystal-clear waters, and a blissful atmosphere...


The next stop where the boat will anchor for us to take pictures and experience the beautiful atmosphere along the way is Egg Island.

On this island, there is a large stone archway that has become a symbol of Satun Province.

It is said that if you have the opportunity to bring your loved one here and want your love to be strong and long-lasting,

Come together to pass through the "Lover's Gate" located on "Egg Island".

The water at Koh Kai is crystal clear, and the sand is soft and white. We took many beautiful photos.

After leaving Koh Kai, the boat will take us to Koh Lipe, specifically to Pattaya Beach (Bandhaya).

As its name suggests, Pattaya Beach comes alive at night with vibrant parties and bustling walking streets.

Koh Lipe has a total of 3 beaches: Sunset Beach, Sunrise Beach, and Pattaya Beach (Bandhaya).

Upon arriving at the island, we proceeded to check in to our accommodation. For this trip, we chose to stay at The Cliff Lipe.

Located at Sunset Beach, a tranquil and ideal spot for relaxation...

Let's take a look at the atmosphere of the accommodation and the surrounding area.



The Cliff Lipe boasts a lush and refreshing atmosphere, thanks to its wooden decor and abundance of trees throughout the resort.

Let's take a look at our first night's accommodation.


The interior of the room is decorated with a focus on wooden materials and white tones, creating a sense of visual comfort.

The bathroom features a unique design with potted plants, creating a harmonious blend with the room's ambiance.

The accommodation is fully equipped with amenities and facilities, including free Wi-Fi.

The room is a bit small... and there are mosquitoes at night. I recommend anyone coming to Lipe.

Don't forget to bring a portable mosquito repellent.

The accommodation is located right on the beach, offering stunning views of the crystal-clear ocean.

This location offers a variety of recreational activities and relaxation options, including beachside lounging and kayaking.

And snorkeling from the beach. I must say that just snorkeling in front of the beach is already amazing.

Crystal clear water, abundant coral reefs, and a variety of fish, including clownfish.

The sweltering heat prompted us to take a refreshing dip in the ocean, capturing the vibrant atmosphere for you to enjoy.


Just snorkeling in front of the beach is already this amazing... We can't wait to go on our diving trip tomorrow.

In the evening, you can witness the breathtaking sunset from The Cliff Lipe.

Unfortunately, when we visited last month, the sun was still setting behind the mountains. Otherwise, we would have definitely captured some beautiful sunset photos.

However, recent reports suggest that the sun is starting to set behind the mountains, which means that staying here would offer stunning sunset views.

The atmosphere is incredibly romantic. It makes me want to go back again. It's truly beautiful.

On the first evening, we took an open-air taxi to stroll and find food at the walking street near Pattaya Beach.

Breakfast here is served a la carte, meaning you can order from a menu of available dishes.

This area is renowned for its spectacular coral reefs, including vibrant seven-color corals and soft corals.

Among the most beautiful in Thailand, just being on the list is exciting...

The water is crystal clear, allowing you to see the coral reefs beneath the surface. It's an amazing experience.

This place is renowned for its beautiful stones. The origin of these stones is uncertain, but they exhibit remarkable aesthetic qualities.

The island is completely covered in them, making for a beautiful and unusual sight.

With the exploration of Hin Ngam Island complete, it was time to dive into the depths.

The coral reefs here remain remarkably abundant, teeming with hard corals, vibrant anemones, and a diverse array of colorful fish.

The highlight of diving in Lipe is the Jabang Channel, which boasts stunning soft corals and colorful seven-color corals.

This is truly a remarkable experience. I have dived all over Thailand, but I have never seen anything like this before.

However, navigating this area depends heavily on the water conditions, as the current here is swift and powerful.

During the day, the boat will take us to have lunch on Ravi Island.

This island boasts pristine white sand beaches and crystal-clear turquoise waters, making it an idyllic getaway destination.

The island has items for sale, such as water, snacks, and food. However, the prices are higher than usual.

After concluding our diving tour with Sealection, we returned to our accommodation in the late afternoon.

It was time for our relaxation. On the second night, we stayed in a Gucci room at The Cliff Lipe.

This room is absolutely incredible! It boasts stunning ocean views and a jacuzzi where you can relax and unwind.

For dinner tonight, we opted to eat at our accommodation, as we were exhausted from a full day of diving.

For our 3-day, 2-night trip, the accommodation package includes a Dinner Set.

After a delicious dinner, it's time to soak in the tub, sip a cool drink, and lie down to watch the stars. There's nothing more enjoyable than this right now.

How wonderful is this atmosphere? Ask yourself... I love this place, I love Koh Lipe... Koh Lipe is not difficult to get to.

On our last day, we hired a three-wheeled taxi to take us on a tour of the island.

400 baht per hour. We will organize a 1-hour tour before returning to the hotel. We will then take a leisurely ride around the island to enjoy the scenery.


This trip to Lipe Island has significantly altered my perspective.

The island is easily accessible, contrary to popular belief. While it offers modern conveniences, it maintains a peaceful atmosphere, free from excessive hustle and bustle.

There are many places to relax, including shops, convenience stores, and mobile phone signal.

However, the price of goods may be higher than usual. Many accommodations will have water and electricity available 24 hours a day.


This place boasts stunningly beautiful seas and soft, white sand that feels delightful underfoot.

The coral reefs remain remarkably abundant, teeming with a diverse array of fish species.

No wonder this place is called the "Maldives of Thailand".

This has transformed Koh Lipe into a renowned tourist destination and a haven for travelers.


For me, 3 days and 2 nights are not enough to explore "Koh Lipe".

I will definitely return next time. I consider this place to be the number 1 in the Thai sea in my heart.
