Are you tired of work and life's problems? Do you want to disappear and relax somewhere? We recommend the 'Cher Cheeva' homestay. We just went there and it was amazing! Most importantly, this trip costs less than 1,200 baht (excluding airfare). And you don't need a car! Read this review, book your stay, and have fun!

Where does the 1,200 baht expense come from?

1. Accommodation cost for a room for 3 people, 1,500 baht/room/night, including breakfast.

2. Dinner cost 150 baht/person.

3. Transportation cost from Chiang Mai to Tha Ton or Chiang Mai to Fang.

From Chang Phuak Transport to 7-Eleven Mae Na, 40 baht (round trip 80 baht).

4. Car rental cost from 7-Eleven Mae Na to the accommodation, 400 baht/trip.

(Contact the accommodation directly).

Personal opinion: 3 rooms are just right.

Not too much, not too little. It feels like staying at a friend's house.

P.S.1 This price includes breakfast but not dinner at 150 baht/person.

P.S.2 Extra bed 400 baht/person, each room can add up to 3 people.

Let's go see our room now :D

In addition to the private balcony and tie-dye bedspread,

they also provided us with a three-pin plug. Excellent!

The bathroom was also clean and usable.

After packing, it's time to explore the surroundings. Let's start with the hallway and the kitchen.

On a chilly day, who wants to order a cup of drip coffee?

Cherprang is here to serve you!

Head down to the lowest floor where you'll find 3 chill spots by the stream.

Choose your favorite spot and claim it as your own.

Because we'll be having dinner down here as well.

Must-do when visiting 'Cher Cheewa':

Cross the stream and take photos of the homestays from the opposite bank.

For those who are more energetic, take photos both at dawn and dusk.

For those who are not so energetic, it is recommended to take photos at dusk.

Because the accommodation will start to turn on the lights + the sky is not too dark.

The light is just beautiful.

6 pm sharp! Dinner time

Today's menu is northern Thai-style curry paste with pork ribs, spicy lemongrass soup with chicken, and hot steamed rice.

Each dish is generously portioned, making the 150 baht price tag a steal!

Plus, I got to chat with P'Tree, the owner of the house,

and her adorable one-year-old daughter, Noey.

It was a meal filled with smiles. :')

The colder it gets, the darker it becomes.

Another homeowner was burning leaves at that moment.

We sat nearby and helped out. Haha.

After hanging out for a while, we went back to our room because it was too cold to stay outside.

Tomorrow, I have an early morning appointment with Tri to take me to the bus station.

Better get some sleep, or I won't wake up on time.

February 24th, 2017

We woke up to a chilly 14 degrees Celsius.

No showers for us today! It's too cold!

We'll just brush our teeth, stretch, and find something warm to eat.

After this last drink, it's time to say goodbye to Cher Cheewa.

Thank you for making our vacation a true vacation.

Even though we only stayed one night, we feel fully recharged.

Thank you to Tri and Fon, the owners of Cher Cheewa,

for creating such a warm and welcoming place.

If you have the chance, don't forget to stop by.

You won't be disappointed. <3
