Today, I had the opportunity to attend the 1st anniversary celebration of kokotel, a trendy new hotel on Surawong Road. Before attending the event, I learned about kokotel through their website and reviews from others, which I found very appealing.

The name "kokotel" originates from "kokoro," meaning "heart," symbolizing our dedication to providing warm hospitality through a blend of Thai and Japanese service. We strive to create a welcoming atmosphere that feels like home, treating our guests like family.

The hotel's concept and the adorable decor, which includes a large blue slide connecting the second floor to the cafe on the ground floor, were both appealing. (Unfortunately, due to the large number of attendees, I was unable to try the slide this time. I'll have to give it a shot the next time I visit.)

Let's talk about the restaurant Café@kokotel. When we went there for the anniversary, it was very crowded, but the food was constantly being refilled. I like this because it gives us the opportunity to try many different things and review the flavors.

Let's start eating now, shall we?

The menu at the event reflects the style of Café@kokotel, offering fusion cuisine that seamlessly blends international and Thai flavors, resulting in a unique and delicious dining experience.

Let's start with the first menu item.

Curried Fish Cake Brochettes: These bite-sized morsels offer a fusion take on the classic Thai dish "Hor Mok Pla." The mild curry flavor and lack of overpowering spices make them a palatable option for both Thai and international palates. While delicious, their enjoyment could be further enhanced by serving them warm.

This dish is Naem Moo, also known as fermented pork sausage in Thai. It has been given an international twist by mixing fermented pork sausage, shredded cabbage, pickled ginger, and fresh chili peppers, allowing it to be enjoyed in a single bite. The taste is delicious, and the fermented pork sausage is marinated to perfection.

Bacon cream cheese Chipotle pancake
These adorable mini pancakes have a subtle, savory flavor that pairs perfectly with the accompanying sauce. The pancake itself is dense and fluffy, offering a delightful texture. While enjoyable at room temperature, they would undoubtedly be even more delectable when served hot.

We thoroughly enjoyed this dish, the Spicy mini pork Burgers & Jalepeno Mayo. The burger truly captured our hearts. The bread was delightful, and the slightly spicy pork filling was irresistible. We couldn't help but crave another bite. The mayo sauce perfectly complemented the pork, creating a harmonious flavor profile. We're already yearning for another visit to the restaurant to savor this dish again.

We absolutely adore this dish, the Spicy mini pork Burgers & Jalepeno Mayo. This burger truly captured our hearts! 555 We loved both the soft, fluffy bun and the slightly spicy pork patty. It left us wanting another bite! The jalapeno mayo was also delicious and complemented the pork perfectly. Just talking about it makes us want to rush back to the restaurant and order another one! ^^

This dish is delicious. 555. Starting the menu description like this shows that it is truly delicious. It is a pie with a cheese filling. The taste of the pie is salty and rich. When eaten with berry jam, it helps to cut through the richness. It is so delicious that I would like another piece.

This dish is delicious! 555. Starting the menu description like this shows that it must be truly delicious. It's a pie with a cheesy filling. The pie itself has a salty and savory flavor, which is perfectly balanced by the sweetness of the berry jam. It's so good that I had to order another slice.

This dish was unnamed, so we're unsure of its exact title. However, we can describe its texture and flavor. We believe it's best suited as a palate cleanser, as it resembles a Japanese cucumber salad with stuffed tomatoes, onions, and sausage. This dish effectively cuts through the richness of other menu items.

After enjoying the savory dishes, we indulged in a selection of sweet treats and refreshing fruits to cleanse our palates. The desserts were perfectly balanced in sweetness, while the oranges effectively cut through any lingering richness from the main course. This meal left us feeling both satisfied and delighted by the opportunity to sample a diverse array of flavors.

After tasting the food, we captured the atmosphere of the event. Many people came to congratulate.
