"Leang", or the bony backbone of a pig with meat attached, is a popular and trendy menu item. Its spicy flavor, similar to "Tom Zap Khai Kai" (Spicy Chicken Feet Soup), has captured the hearts of people across the country. "Kin Gaem Tui, Talui Tiew" has followed the footsteps of food connoisseurs to try many different restaurants. It seems like a delicious menu item that is easy to make and shouldn't be too complicated. However, in reality, this is not the case at all.

The "sparkling" clarity immediately faded when I met Mr. Suphakit Thongnil (Pun), the owner of "Tiew Deng Leng Zab" restaurant, which is famous for its deliciousness and has been reviewed by many famous news agencies. He shared that "the restaurant is very meticulous in selecting the pork bones, which are sourced from trusted suppliers. Only the best quality pork backbone with a special size and pink color is selected. Before cooking, the bones are thoroughly cleaned, and the bone marrow and excess fat are removed."

To achieve the desired tenderness and eliminate any unpleasant odor, the pork bones are simmered for several hours. Each step in this process involves specific techniques that require expertise and cannot be easily replicated.

These generous portions are served in large bowls, accompanied by a tray for discarded bones, making them ideal for sharing among 2-3 people.

The menu features various sizes and prices:

  • Leng Tom Zap:

    • Super Giant: 150 Baht
  • Leng Tom Yum Nam Khlon:

Spicy Pork Bone Soup is seasoned with premium fish sauce, fresh lime juice, and garden chili peppers for a balanced and pleasantly spicy flavor.

Spicy Pork Bone Soup with Rich Coconut Milk The broth is infused with galangal, lemongrass, kaffir lime leaves, roasted chili paste, and fresh milk, creating a vibrant and appetizing color. The first sip promises a burst of spicy and creamy flavors, accompanied by an aromatic fragrance.

Pork bone soup has a sweet and fragrant flavor like a clear soup. It has a lot of ingredients, which makes it look worthwhile for this bowl. It can be eaten by people of all ages. Sipping the soup is refreshing.

The "Tiew Deng Leng Zab" restaurant offers a variety of other delicious dishes, including Chiang Mai-style fried pork, garlic and pepper fried pork strips, garlic and pepper fried pork belly, fish sauce fried pork belly, and crispy stir-fried pork with holy basil. All dishes are made fresh in-house, ensuring their quality and taste. The "Kin Gam Tui Talui Tiew" team particularly enjoyed the Chiang Mai-style fried pork (crispy pork fat), which is served in a bag on the table alongside crispy fish skin. Customers can enjoy it as a snack, as a side dish with their noodles, or with a spicy vermicelli salad. It's a versatile dish that pairs well with everything. However, be warned: "one bag is never enough."

This restaurant's name, "Bouncy Noodles," hints at its signature dish: bouncy pork noodles. The highlight is the "bouncy pork," which is a must-try. We recommend the Tom Yum Egg Noodle with Onsen Egg, which comes with a variety of toppings, including the bouncy pork, shredded pork, and minced pork. It's a delicious and satisfying dish.

To conclude, we recommend trying the refreshing "Sa-Ha-Rim," a sago cantaloupe dessert, or the "Fancy Pomegranate," or indulge in a scoop of fresh coconut ice cream for a sweet ending. This completes the delicious journey, and we can confidently say that we have tried everything on the menu and highly recommend it.

"Deng Noodle Shop, Spicy Pork Ribs" has two branches located in Soi Chaeng Watthana 14. If you are coming from Lak Si, you will reach the shop before Muang Thong Thani, on the same side as Lotus Department Store. If you are going for lunch, it is recommended to go to branch 2. Park your car behind Lotus and walk a short distance. If it is dinner time, evening time, or a convenient time, it is recommended to go to branch 1. It is located in the same alley, but further into the alley at the 3-way intersection.

The restaurant is open daily from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM. For inquiries, please contact 08-7099-8819 or visit the "เตี๋ยวเด้งเล้งแซบ" Facebook page.
