The staff is friendly and welcoming, and we found ourselves chatting with them for quite some time. We even asked them about the rumors of the resort closing, and they assured us that it's not true and that guests are still welcome. The land on which the resort sits is a family heirloom, passed down through generations. So, rest assured, Baan-Kok-Kot is here to stay.

Directions:

From Kanchanaburi city, head towards Highway 3199 (Kanchanaburi - Erawan Waterfall). After approximately 36 km (at km 25), turn left at the Pong Pat intersection (Highway 3457). Continue straight for about 1.4 km until you reach a bridge over the river. Turn right immediately after crossing the bridge and follow the road for about 2.5 km. Baan Kokkod will be on your right-hand side.

We stayed at the Stargazing House, which features two-story rooms with king-size beds (extremely comfortable!). The upper level offers a perfect spot for stargazing at night, creating a romantic atmosphere (highly recommended!).
