Hello everyone, everyone has a dream to do this and that. We also have a dream. We have wanted to surf for a long time. So long that we dream about it. Then one day we got to surf for real. We found a place to learn and play in many places until we found a place that we liked and was affordable. On this trip, we went down to Phang Nga. We went alone, it was a bit lonely, but it was a lot of fun.

Our journey began in Phetchaburi Province, traveling by bus. The bus departed from Bangkok at 6:30 PM and arrived in Phetchaburi around 9:00 PM. We then set off on our adventure.

We drove for a long time, and I was starting to get worried about whether we would ever arrive. According to Google Maps, we should have reached Khao Lak around 4:00 AM, but it was already 8:00 AM. We told the driver to drop us off at McDonald's in Khao Lak, and then we walked a short distance to our accommodation.

We stayed at Monkey Dive Hostel, a budget-friendly dorm-style accommodation, for a comfortable two-night stay.

This is a shared room, but if you come with a partner, there is a room for two people. We live here like a family, sharing the bathroom, refrigerator, and most importantly, the kitchen.

Upon arrival, we immediately searched for a surfing spot. Our mode of transportation was a motorbike, which can be rented directly from our accommodation.

Our first meal here after a ten-hour drive. I don't know what it's called, but it was delicious. We wanted to experience the local food and culture, so we stopped at a roadside restaurant. There are many local restaurants along the way.

After we finished fueling up, we rode our bikes to find a place to learn how to surf. As we rode along, we came across a large surfboard at the entrance to a path. Without hesitation, we rode our bikes straight towards it. Hooray! We're almost there!

We rode our bikes for a considerable distance, but the lush forest scenery kept us entertained. The weather was pleasant, but the bumpy gravel road required careful navigation.

And here we are at Memories Beach Bar, located on the beautiful Coral Beach. This bar offers a variety of amenities, including guest rooms, surfing opportunities, and exciting evening entertainment. It's truly an amazing place to be.

This is the place we have been waiting and searching for for so long.

Let's go surfing! The lessons here are affordable. The instructors will provide on-land instruction first, addressing any questions you may have. You'll then spend over an hour in the water with a coach by your side. The rest of the day is yours to practice as you please. Your success will depend on your individual skills.

When we first arrived, we were the only ones who were going to take the class. However, after a while, two more friends joined us, which was great because we wouldn't be lonely. Thank you, new friends! After we finished our on-land training, as I mentioned before, we went into the water. The first thing we had to learn was how to read the waves. We had to practice playing with the waves that were breaking. We played all day long, and I mean all day long! All three of us were able to stand up on the board, and we did pretty well. It's no wonder we had such great coaches! >< We had so much fun, but we don't have any pictures of us playing together. My new friend's GoPro got lost in the waves when we went surfing. So sad! TT

The weather today is amazing. The bartenders said there haven't been any waves for three or four days. I'm lucky to have come today when there are waves. And the waves are so beautiful today. Okay, no problem if you don't have pictures of surfing. Let's see other pictures.

Refreshing, fragrant, and delicious pineapple juice.

We played from around 10 am until the evening, forgetting to eat.

As the evening approaches, the staff at the shop emerge to enjoy some surfing. This is a time when they can truly appreciate the joy of their work. ^^ Enviable indeed.

The sun is setting, creating a truly beautiful atmosphere.

The sentence is already in English and does not require translation.

It's getting dark now, let's head back to our accommodation and save our energy for tomorrow when we can play again.

This morning I woke up feeling a little sore, so I'm going to relax and swim at a different location. Then, in the afternoon, we'll go surfing again for another round.

Khao Lak-Lam Ru National Park is less than a 5-minute drive from our accommodation. There is a small entrance fee to the park, and we will receive a park map in return. Let's see which bays are suitable for swimming and relaxing.

Excellent! We can have lunch here before going down to play in the water.

Our restaurant's view is amazing.

As we continued our hike, we stumbled upon a perfect spot for camping. We couldn't resist setting up our tent and enjoying the tranquility of the place. The next time we visit, we'll definitely camp here again. The area is peaceful and secluded, with a rocky ridge offering a scenic nature trail. We discovered a secluded cove where we could swim in solitude. It felt like our own private paradise.

It's late afternoon now, let's go surfing!

However, it started raining. Oh no, we can't go surfing anymore. So we decided to relax at a coffee shop and wait for the rain to stop.

The rain kept falling and falling, and it didn't stop until it was dark. We couldn't go surfing today, but we were lucky enough to go yesterday, when the waves were beautiful. This was our first time learning to surf, and we loved it. We'll definitely be back for more. Just wait for us, Phang Nga!

Tonight we will rest, pack our bags, and wait for our onward journey. Tomorrow we will go to Krabi. Stay tuned!
