.. The best time to visit Phuket is between February and March, according to geography. However, in reality, it depends on your luck. For example, it always rains whenever I go. So, I just choose a travel time that avoids the monsoon. ..

As mentioned earlier, I don't even know how many times I've been to Phuket (and it looks like I'll be going down again >< ). Anyway, this trip, we didn't go alone like before. We had our girlfriend with us. And because we were tired of traveling without a car last time, we decided to rent one this time around. That way, we could travel around and take pictures to our heart's content.

And that's exactly what happened...

We traveled at the end of April, and we were sure that we wouldn't encounter any rain in Phuket this time.

Hmm... It rained on us as soon as we arrived at the airport.

But we didn't care because we had our own rented car. We could go anywhere, anytime. ..

We arrived in Phuket at 8:30 am. We were very hungry. My friend wanted to take pictures in the old town, so we took her to our favorite restaurant, which we had visited on our previous trip. It was called "Arun Bhochana," a southern food restaurant that serves roti, teh tarik, and nasi lemak, which are all very delicious.

After exploring the old town for a considerable amount of time, we discovered numerous picturesque spots perfect for capturing memorable photographs.

After we were tired from taking photos and the weather started to get hot, we decided to check in to our accommodation. This time, we chose to stay at Nook Dee Boutique Resort in Kata Noi Beach. Getting there was not difficult at all. It was only 20 kilometers from the city center to the resort. To get there, we drove from the city center to Chalong Intersection and then straight to Kata. There were clear signs indicating where to turn. The road was steep, so please drive carefully.

The hotel concept is incredibly charming, embracing a uniquely Thai sense of fun and vibrancy expressed through its colorful design. Each room type boasts a distinct name, while the restaurant, spa, and pool bar (aptly named "Yadong," which also serves authentic herbal infused liquor) offer a truly immersive experience.

Upon arrival, we were greeted with a refreshing welcome drink of longan juice.

The room I stayed in this time is the "Sleep Well" room, which is a Deluxe room with a sea view.

After checking in, we wasted no time changing clothes, putting on makeup, and doing our hair. Then, we rushed to take photos before the light faded.

That was at the Windmill Viewpoint.

The wind turbine viewpoint is located near Rawai Beach, just before Laem Phromthep. It's a short drive from Nai Harn Beach, and you'll reach it before arriving at Laem Phromthep. The best thing about this spot is that it's rarely crowded, with mostly locals enjoying the scenery and taking photos. And most importantly, the view is breathtaking.

We returned to the rooftop bar for a while before heading out for dinner. In the evening, there are sunset cocktails available. It's a rooftop bar that's still under construction, but we were able to go up and enjoy the view while sipping cocktails. The evening view was truly spectacular.

The next morning, we had a trip to Koh Rok with Love Andaman, our usual tour operator. We really love their service and have been to almost every island with them! This time, we boarded the boat at the same pier as our trip to Koh Mai Thon. Since we had to leave early in the morning, we didn't have time for breakfast. Fortunately, Nunkdee prepared a breakfast box for us, which was very thoughtful. The box was filled with delicious food that kept us full until lunchtime.

Before boarding the boat, the guide will brief us before we go on a trip. One of the rules of Koh Rok is similar to Koh Tachai, which is that shoes are not allowed on the island. Otherwise, the sand will turn black. Therefore, we will have to leave our shoes on the shore. After the guide briefs us, we must take care of ourselves because the Koh Rok trip focuses on diving. There will not be much time for us to change clothes on the island, so we should change clothes before going. And it will take us 1 hour and 40 minutes to travel.

Shortly after arriving at the shore, the guide called us to board the boat for a snorkeling trip to Koh Rok Nok. The water was incredibly clear.

After our first dive, we will return to shore for a delicious meal. Love Andaman is famous for its generous snacks, offering an unlimited selection of pastries and beverages. Every visit leaves us wanting more, especially the brownies!

After lunch and snacks, we had about an hour before the boat took us to Koh Haa for snorkeling and then back to shore. The girls wouldn't let this opportunity pass, so we went to take photos. This campaign is going to rock Instagram!

If you ask about preferences, Koh Rok has a lot of tourists because there are many tour operators. As for me, I prefer a quiet place to relax. Right now, my favorite place is Koh Mai Thon.

After a short photo session, the guide invited us to go diving at Koh Haa. However, the guide mentioned that Koh Haa was a better spot for photography. We decided to stay on the boat and continue taking pictures instead. Later, one of the divers told us that the coral reefs at Koh Haa were even more beautiful than those at Koh Rok. We were a bit disappointed that we missed out on that, but we still enjoyed the stunning scenery of Koh Haa.

We arrived at the pier around 5 pm and were exhausted, so we went back to the hotel before going out to eat in the city. My friend said he wanted to try local food, so we went to the Too Ga Khao restaurant in the old town. I had only heard of it before, but when we arrived, I found that the restaurant was very beautiful. I loved it.

The food here is incredibly delicious, especially the crab curry noodles (I forgot to take a picture ><), the fresh shrimp chili paste, and the braised pork. The restaurant is also beautiful and has live music.

After we finished our meal, we went to Kasikorn Bank, which is right next door. It was so beautiful at night that we couldn't resist taking some pictures. We also took some photos near the clock tower.

Returning to Nunkdee, I was exhausted. My head hit the pillow, and I fell asleep instantly. Most importantly, I was afraid I wouldn't wake up in time for breakfast! Haha.

For those staying at Nunkdee, I highly recommend waking up early for breakfast because...

You will enjoy breakfast in this corner with a 360-degree view of the sea.

The breakfast at Nook Dee was incredibly delicious, so much so that I skipped lunch.

We stayed at Nook Dee for 3 days and 2 nights and had a truly relaxing time. The staff at Nook Dee provided excellent service, and we were always greeted with kindness and attentiveness. Thank you!

Before leaving, we had some time to spare, so we stopped by the Thai Hua Museum. This museum tells the story of the Chinese community that settled in Phuket. The museum is well-designed and informative.

Admission fee is 50 baht. If you have a museum pass, you can use it to enter.

Our trip to Phuket was incredibly fulfilling, even though we weren't able to tick everything off our list due to time constraints and other factors. Nonetheless, we had an amazing time and left feeling truly happy.

"I'm so happy, I feel like we should be together. :)"
