Don't be surprised why it suddenly became Chapter 17... Actually, we skipped Chapter 5. So, we'll just put Nan in our Chapter 17. The trip to Nan was a very memorable one for us because of the good weather and the friendly people. And the time we went to Nan was also a time when we were feeling lost in love. It was a time when we were confused and didn't know what to do with our lives.

This trip to Nan was like a self-reflection, a way for us to escape from the daily routine that we were facing.

We left Bangkok on Friday evening and took a long bus ride. This time, we had 3 other friends with us, so it was extra fun. We arrived in Nan around early morning. P'Bom from Hug Her Him Nan picked us up on his trusty motorbike and took us to our accommodation.

This is the lovely P'Bom.

P'Bom, Fah is sorry >/\<

Bom took great care of us, from arranging car rentals and recommending places to visit to taking us to his restaurant for beers. It was a very enjoyable trip. The restaurant was a bit crowded that day, and there was no one to help serve, so we helped Bom serve, and Gig also joined in the live music with Bom.

It was the most enjoyable trip ever. It didn't feel like we were staying at a guesthouse, but rather that we were visiting a close senior.

On the first day, when we arrived in the morning, we were very hungry. Bom came down to make breakfast for the guests staying at Huk Heo. We watched and complained that we were hungry until Bom made us spaghetti for breakfast.

It was delicious... I'm telling you.

We really enjoyed Chef Bom's salad. He told us that all the vegetables were sourced from an organic farm owned by a friend of his. He mentioned taking us there later in the afternoon, but for now, he needed to finish some work at Hug Hug.

After we finished our meal, we took a walk around the property. We thought it was charming. Behind the house, there was a small vegetable garden that Chef Bom had planted himself.

We thought it was very Nans-style.

At first glance, Huk Him Nan may appear to be just another ordinary guesthouse. However, we believe that it is much more than that. It exudes a warmth that surpasses the typical guesthouse experience. Trust us, you won't find this kind of atmosphere in a 5-star hotel.

Through conversations with Bom and Jazz, we completely forgot the reasons why we came to Nan. We forgot our worries and anxieties. It was a form of mental therapy to meet new people and experience a new environment.

In the afternoon, Bom took us to visit Faem Fai's farm. We met the lovely project owner, Fai. Fai grows all organic vegetables and is the same age as us. Talking to Fai broadened our horizons.

Fai's salad vegetables were the most delicious we've ever had.

** We took a lot of pictures of Farm Famfai, but they were lost along with the virus on the flash drive. We are so sorry TT **

In the late afternoon, we rode our bikes to the Nan Riverside Art Gallery. There are many beautiful art pieces here, and most importantly, there are many photo spots as well.

After a long day of exploring, we returned to Hak Huay to rest before heading to Doi Pha Hom Pok the next morning. In the morning, Bom prepared a delicious breakfast for us, which included fresh salad greens from Fai's farm.

This time, we chose to ride a motorcycle again. Riding a motorcycle for 70 kilometers is not very enjoyable, as it is quite dangerous. However, it was not that bad (although it was quite tiring).

Before reaching Doi Pha Hom Pok National Park, we stopped by the Sao Din Na Noi (Small Earth Pillars). At first glance, it seemed like nothing more than a pile of collapsed earth. However, upon closer inspection, we discovered a multitude of photogenic angles.

From the Sao Din Na Noi pillar, it is not far to Doi Pha Hom Pok.

This trip to Nan, we insist on staying at Doi Samer Dao. Why?

They once told me they longed to lie under the stars at Doi Pha Hom Pok National Park. It's a shame we couldn't share that experience together. The most I could do was capture the stars in a photograph and send it to them.

The night sky cleared briefly, allowing us to capture the beauty of the stars. The stars were so captivating that I wished you were here to lie beside me and gaze at them. Throughout the night, a gentle rain fell. We secretly rejoiced, knowing that the morning would bring a sea of mist. And indeed, we were greeted by a breathtaking view. Our trip to Doi Pha Hom Pok was truly fulfilling, witnessing both the stars and the mist at dawn. Although the atmosphere was somewhat gloomy, it mirrored the emotions we were feeling at that moment.

On that day, we had to return the car to the shop around noon and we had to travel back to Bangkok in the evening. In the afternoon, we walked around and visited the Phumin Temple to pay our respects and took photos in front of the National Museum before returning.

During my visit to Wat Phumin, I prayed for blessings, specifically for the opportunity to encounter good people. I also extended this blessing to you, and it has come to fruition. : )

While your wish has been granted, I wonder if mine will ever be fulfilled.

For we wished to return to Nan once more, together with you.
