Hua Hin: A First for the Year!

This trip to Hua Hin required minimal preparation, as we secured beachfront accommodation. The primary purpose of the visit was to assist Manai with his "Photographic Storytelling of Royal Projects" project, which involved video recording. However, being the avid explorer that I am, I couldn't resist gathering information to share with you all!

Free train for the people again, my friends. You can board at both Bangkok Railway Station (Hua Lamphong) and Thon Buri Railway Station. This trip, I chose to go through Thon Buri Railway Station because I wanted to get there quickly. I had to hurry to work for my boss. Looking at the schedule, the free train will pass Hua Hin at 07:30 (Thon Buri-หลังสวน) and 13:05 (Thon Buri-Prachuap Khiri Khan). Be careful not to get on the wrong train and end up at the Death Railway Bridge in Kanchanaburi. Look carefully, haha.

Successfully exchanged my ID card for a free train ticket. The train departs at 07:30 and arrives in Hua Hin at 11:44.

This task requires Lemon to perform two functions: 1. Film a video of your work, and 2. Capture images for a review. Even if it's difficult, you must persevere.

The station master came to check the tickets. On this trip, Manao also got a heart.

The journey takes approximately 4 hours by train. Don't worry about getting hungry, as there are vendors selling food and drinks throughout the trip.

I love riding the train. I can gaze out the window and watch the scenery go by. When I get tired, I can take a nap.

The two of them had fun together, taking photos, playing, and eating. On Saturdays and Sundays, there were a lot of people using the services, but it wasn't so crowded that there was no room to play.

Upon arriving in Hua Hin as planned, the first thing I did after getting off the train was to take a photo, of course!

Hua Hin Railway Station, the most beautiful railway station in Thailand, is distinguished by the presence of the Phra Mongkut Klao Pavilion.

Hua Hin Railway Station Sign, a symbol of Hua Hin, is often imitated by tourist attractions and shops, using similar lettering and background designs.

I am so happy that this year, Manaow has the opportunity to return to take a selfie with the sign of Hua Hin Station again.

Go now, or your work will not progress.

The taxi fare to Fulay Guest House in Hua Hin is 150 baht. However, if you are not in a hurry and want to save money, you can walk straight from Hua Hin Railway Station to Hua Hin Beach. Alternatively, you can take a motorbike taxi, which should cost around 30 baht per person.

To book directly with Fulay Guesthouse Hua Hin, please call this number: 032-513-145. Then, transfer the room payment and present proof of transfer.

Lemon has booked a room for 1,000 baht. Breakfast is not included. Let's go see what the Lemon room is like.

The lobby is lovely. I especially like the spacious, airy, and clean feel. It definitely makes a good impression.

The customer approached from behind. "Ugh! I wanted to sit in the front, but it's a different price. I can't change or add money either. Um, okay, fine."

The room is small but adequate, clean, with a comfortable bed, cool air conditioning, and hot water. The window offers a view of the sea. The price is 1,000 baht, which is considered reasonable.

The upper section consists of fan rooms, which are all the same. Fan rooms are priced at 550 and 700 baht.

Now that you've settled in, let me show you around the area.

The rooms on the left side of the picture, rooms 1 to 4, are priced at 1,100 baht and are air-conditioned.

**This area, rooms 5-8, costs 1,250 baht (Manaow wants to stay here the most). Room 9, the last one before exiting to the restaurant, and the room on the right next to the bathroom, will cost 1,500 baht.**

A Seaside Dining Experience: Food, Drinks, and Breathtaking Views

Descend the stairs to discover a haven of culinary delights and refreshing beverages, all accompanied by the mesmerizing panorama of the ocean.

On the right, there are clean restrooms available for use.

Lost in the bathroom for several minutes. Quite adorable.

This is the corner everyone loves, Foolay Guesthouse @ Hua Hin.

A small Thai-style gable house caught my eye on the right, and upon inquiring, I learned that this room is unique compared to the others.

Lemon quickly asked for permission to take a picture to show off. The price of this room is the highest at Fulay Guesthouse @ Hua Hin.

2,500 baht without breakfast.

What a delightful place to be.

Directly on the beach, it's worth the price.

Let's go work with Mr. Manai first and then come back to brag later.

When we hired a car to take us to Fulay Guesthouse, Manao hired them to take us to Wat Huay Mongkol and wait for us to return for 500 baht.

Manai continued working, while Manao assisted him. They worked diligently.

Sneaking under the elephant's belly to wish everyone good health, happiness, and monthly travels.

The intense heat was almost unbearable, as if our skin would burn. Suddenly, the rain poured down, forcing us to run for cover.

Return to the Fulay Guest House, take a shower, put on some makeup, and head to the Talad Rot Fai for dinner. It's just a short walk away.

This restaurant is sure to be a hit, with a long queue of both Chinese and Thai customers waiting to be seated.

Established for over 50 years, Ko Ti Restaurant serves authentic Thai-Chinese cuisine with a wide variety of dishes. Located on Phetkasem Road, intersecting with Dechanuchit Road (or Hua Hin Soi 57), at the To Rot Rueng Market intersection, the restaurant occupies a corner unit opposite the market.

Exhausted from the day, we decided to skip the queue and head across the street for a quick bite. We grabbed some food and supplies to bring back to our room to enjoy while we worked.

There are many seafood restaurants with lovely items for sale. If it weren't raining, there would undoubtedly be a large number of visitors.

And we finally got our dinner supplies, let's wrap it up and go home!!

"Seafood noodles," the words whispered by Manao, causing her to pause. This was the dish she would have today. Seafood, oh seafood!

**After eating, go to sleep. At 5:00 AM, wake up and see if the rain has stopped so that Manao can take pictures.**

The orange light was faint, so I took a few quick photos. I was worried about the rain, so I had to hurry to capture the atmosphere of the Fulay Guesthouse.

Sipping coffee, enjoying the solitude.

Given the weather conditions, I believe it is safe to say that the lime trees will not be affected by the rain. I suggest we take a walk to the Mae Tap Tim Shrine and enjoy the atmosphere by the sea.

Turn right and walk a short distance to reach the destination. (It is next to Fulay Guesthouse, which is Mod Guesthouse.)

The photos are beautiful. Have fun taking them!

Take selfies at intervals.

It's great that you can also walk to the other side of the sea.

Beach Activities in Hua Hin: Horseback Riding

Horseback riding is a popular activity on the beaches of Hua Hin. I inquired about the cost and was informed that a round trip ride costs 300 baht. However, I am hesitant to participate due to concerns about the horse's ability to safely carry my weight.

Beach chairs for relaxing and enjoying the sea view, 50 baht per hour, or order food from the restaurant.

"Just taking a picture for now, it's still early, I'm not hungry yet."

Lost in the joy of the walk, I forgot that I had another task to complete with Ms. Manai before heading to the train station.

****

Let's grab a bite before we leave. We'll order from La-Kor Before We Depart, Foolay Guesthouse.

Oh, wow! >>> Manao has arrived. We've finally reached Fulay Guesthouse in Hua Hin. <<< This is definitely something to brag about for years to come! 555

The train ride to the event is free. The return trip offers a free train departing at 2:20 PM.

Private car rental for pick-up and drop-off at Fulay Guesthouse @ Hua Hin and a trip to Wat Huay Mongkol for 500 baht.

Room rate at Fulay Guesthouse @ Hua Hin 1,000 baht

Food expenses in Hua Hin

Food expenses in Hua Hin can vary depending on your budget. For a one-day trip, you can expect to spend around 1,500 baht per person, which translates to 750 baht per person when split between two people.

Initially, I thought the ending scene would be here, at the Hua Hin Coffee Station, waiting for the 14:20 free train back to Bangkok.

Send a postcard to your mother for 25 baht, including postage.

However, our trip did not end there. Due to Manai's work, we were 15 minutes late and missed the free train. Moreover, the 4:00 PM express train tickets were sold out because we had never traveled on a Saturday or Sunday. We forgot to consider buying tickets in advance. The buses were also full, and we refused to take a van because it was too cramped for our large bodies.

Our trip extended for another night. We had to return early if we stayed far away, so we decided to walk back to the Hua Hin beach area.

The Power of Words: A Journey Through Translation

The act of translation transcends the mere conversion of words from one language to another. It is a bridge between cultures, a conduit for understanding, and a testament to the enduring power of human communication.

In this essay, we embark on a journey through the intricate world of translation, exploring its multifaceted nature and its profound impact on our lives. We delve into the history of this ancient art, examining its evolution from the earliest forms of oral interpretation to the sophisticated machine-learning algorithms of today.

We then delve into the theoretical underpinnings of translation, exploring the various approaches and methodologies that guide translators in their quest for accuracy, fluency, and cultural sensitivity. We examine the role of context, the nuances of language, and the importance of preserving the author's intent.

Furthermore, we investigate the impact of translation on society, exploring its role in fostering cross-cultural understanding, promoting global communication, and shaping our perception of the world. We examine the challenges and opportunities presented by the rise of machine translation, and the ongoing debate about the role of human translators in the digital age.

Through this exploration, we gain a deeper appreciation for the complexities and rewards of translation. We recognize its power to connect people across borders, to bridge cultural divides, and to enrich our understanding of the human experience.

In conclusion, translation is not merely a technical skill, but a profound act of cultural exchange. It is a testament to the enduring power of language and its ability to connect us all. As we continue to navigate the increasingly interconnected world, translation will remain an essential tool for fostering understanding, promoting collaboration, and enriching our lives.

After visiting several guesthouses, I decided on Mod Guesthouse. The air-conditioned room costs 900 baht per night.

While not as spacious and airy as Fulay Guesthouse, the rooms here are still considered decent. Fan rooms start at 500 baht, which is comparable to other guesthouses in the area.

Walk out to enjoy the sea view.

The roof is right next to the Foley Guesthouse where Manao stayed last night.

Even without the rain, the crystal-clear sea is still a delight.

Walk back and climb the stairs to the second floor. There are two floors.

The second floor is spacious and comfortable. The room rate is 1,500 baht.

From Mod Guesthouse, the Shrine of Mae Tap Tim is clearly visible.

After a long day, I'm sharing some photos of the accommodation at Mod Guesthouse.

At 4 a.m., Manao woke up and rushed to prepare for her trip to Hua Hin Railway Station. Luckily, it wasn't raining. She arrived before 5 a.m. and sat still, but the mosquitoes bit her. She decided to go find a bridge and a tripod to take pictures instead.

P.S. I've been to Hua Hin before. I took the free train from Bangkok (Hualamphong) Station and stayed at the Kruan Hut Guesthouse with Gust Jang.

Please Guest House will be a long way.

The moment I stepped onto the beach, I was filled with pure joy.

It wasn't the rainy season when I went there. The light was beautiful, and the sea was clear.

Currently, Khun Hut Guesthouse is undergoing renovations. It remains a viable option for accommodation near Hua Hin Beach.
