Pratunam: A National Shopping Hub

It is safe to assume that everyone is familiar with "Pratunam," a renowned national shopping destination.

Today, Sai has a luxurious hotel in the heart of the city to introduce to her friends.

"The Berkeley Hotel Pratunam" is a large hotel with two buildings (Main Tower and North Tower).

The hotel boasts 788 guest rooms and a comprehensive range of amenities, including a swimming pool, fitness center, spa, restaurants, and spacious banquet halls.

The location is right at Pratunam intersection. The hotel itself is adjacent to the Palladium building, with direct access between the two.

The Main Tower is the building on the left, while the North Tower is the building on the right. The two towers are connected by a skybridge on the 11th floor.

The morning started with a light drizzle, casting a gloomy overcast across the sky. Despite the clouds, the sun managed to peek through, offering a glimpse of its golden rays.

After showering and bathing, I went downstairs to have breakfast. The breakfast room is on the 10th floor.

During my stay at The Berkeley Hotel Pratunam, I had the opportunity to explore the surrounding tourist attractions, restaurants, and shopping areas. Let's start with the nearest ones first.

Pantip Plaza, the first and largest IT equipment distributor in Thailand.

Stir-fried minced pork with basil served over rice with a fried egg. This is my favorite dish. The pork is very tender.

We then walked along the Skywalk.

We take the elevator to the 4th floor of Gaysorn Village to pay respects to Goddess Lakshmi.

She grants wealth, money, and possessions to those who diligently worship her and lead virtuous lives. Lakshmi is revered as the goddess of fortune, known for her compassionate nature. She embodies the epitome of grace and elegance, with captivating and melodious speech. Considered the harbinger of prosperity, she is the patron of all women.

From Gaysorn Village, cross the street to reach the Erawan Shrine at the corner of the Grand Hyatt Erawan Hotel.

Next, we'll head to the Bangkok Art and Culture Centre for a relaxing stroll in the cool air.

We then crossed over to MBK Center, also known as Mahboonkrong.

After a considerable walk, we headed straight to our target restaurant, **Sukiyaki Number One**, located on the 6th floor in The Foodies zone.

Walking back in a circle will lead you to Siam Center.

The next stop will be Siam Paragon Shopping Center.

Wat Pathum Wanaram Ratchawaramahawihan is a third-class royal temple of the Worawihan type, located between Siam Paragon Shopping Center and CentralWorld Shopping Center.

After paying respects at the temple, we continued on to CentralWorld shopping mall.

After a tiring walk, I decided to treat myself to some dessert. After wandering around for a while, I opted for this establishment.

Afterward, we stopped by to pay respects to Lord Trimurti, the deity who bestows love, happiness, success, and fulfillment in all aspects. Lord Trimurti is the supreme deity in Hinduism.

Ganesha is revered as the deity of knowledge, possessing exceptional wisdom and mastery in all fields of art and science. He is the leader who guides his followers through obstacles (the one who prevails over adversity).

We finally circled back to the hotel. Let's take a break and recharge.

Kwang Heng Restaurant is a 24-hour eatery. We opted for the satay and fish maw soup.

Crossing the street back to the hotel, there will be vendors selling goods in front. They typically sell until midnight.

Walk past the hotel to the back, and you will find a night market.

This neon market has a decent amount of goods for sale, including a wide variety of food options. Notably, it is conveniently located very close to the hotel.
