Introducing Suan Phueng...

Suan Phueng District is located in Ratchaburi Province, approximately 2-3 hours from Bangkok. It offers a diverse range of attractions, including waterfalls, mountains, and stylish accommodations. Similar to Khao Yai, Suan Phueng boasts stunning scenery. However, it has fewer restaurants and cafes, making it an ideal destination for those seeking a peaceful and less crowded getaway. (Based on my three visits)

4 Recommended Attractions: Let's explore what Suan Phueng has to offer

1. Veneto - Suan Phueng Floating Market: Experience the charm of Santorini amidst the picturesque mountains and lake.

Atmosphere: Inspired by the city of Venice, Italy, and the Greek architecture of Santorini, the atmosphere is characterized by a serene blue and white color scheme. With over 50 shops and restaurants surrounding a large 20-acre lake, the setting provides a picturesque backdrop for photography and a relaxing ambiance.

Opening Hours: 8:30 AM - 7:00 PM

Admission Fee: Adults 70 Baht / Senior Citizens (60 years and over) 40 Baht / Children 30 Baht / Children under 100 cm Free

There is a place to feed the koi fish... They look like a very large school of fish (the price should be around 20-30 baht).

The rear view offers a stunning panorama of a vast mountain lake, complete with picturesque photo opportunities.

Note: Visiting in the late afternoon, closer to sunset, would be ideal. The light is beautiful, it's not too hot, and there are fewer people, making it easier to take photos. ^^

2. Alpaca Hill, Suan Phueng - Thailand's first and only alpaca breeding farm, spanning over 250 acres of breathtaking scenery. In addition to alpacas, the farm is home to a variety of adorable animals, providing ample opportunities for interaction and photography. A Hobbit village is also present on the premises.

Atmosphere: Excellent, to say the least (and I mean it, having visited three times before even writing this review!). The animals are incredibly tame and unafraid of humans, readily interacting with visitors and allowing them to pet and photograph them. The surrounding environment is equally stunning, with new photo opportunities and a Hobbit-themed village. A visit during the winter months is highly recommended, as the summer sun can be scorching, turning the experience into a living hell... But the beauty is undeniable. If you're in Suan Phueng, make this a must-visit destination. You won't regret it, and you'll likely find yourself returning for a second visit...

What animals are there? > Wallabies, giant rabbits, fluffy rabbits, giant tortoises, ferrets, prairie dogs, mammoths, snowy owls, and other animals.

Opening Hours: Monday-Thursday 9:30 AM - 5:00 PM / Friday-Sunday 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM.
Entrance Fee: 290 Baht (includes 1 set of alpaca food, 2 free printed photos, hobbit house photo opportunity, maze entry, and sheep food).

Phone Number: 080-821-2108 / 081-145-9565

A couple is about to take a photo together when a flock of ducks waddles across the scene in Hopbit City. The ducks quack loudly as they slowly walk by, seemingly wanting to be included in the picture.

All real dolls... Playable, touchable, and huggable. They don't bite. ^.^

Peacocks can coexist with alpacas. 🦚🦙

The deer also came...

The hedgehog lets you hold it... It's super cute : )

A chicken... At first, I thought it was a puppy because its fur was so fluffy... I don't remember what breed it was, haha.

3. Baan Hom Tian, a popular tourist destination in Suan Phueng, is reminiscent of an old town with an 80s theme.

Coordinates: https://goo.gl/maps/4x95dPeS1ko

Atmosphere: The décor is vintage-inspired, featuring antique collectibles such as galvanized iron, antique lanterns, and old toys. This creates a unique and nostalgic ambiance, perfect for capturing artistic photographs. The venue also houses a restaurant, a café, and an ice cream shop, providing a relaxing and enjoyable experience for visitors. Additionally, there are opportunities to participate in candle-making workshops, adding a creative element to the visit.

Opening Hours:

  • Monday - Friday: 8:30 AM - 7:00 PM
  • Saturday - Sunday: 8:30 AM - 8:30 PM

Admission Fee: 50 Baht (includes a souvenir scented candle coupon)

This duck is made entirely of wax, Harvey. : )

To reach the viewpoint with the coffee shop, you'll need to hike to the top. : )

For those who love rare and vintage themes, this is a must-try.

4. Royal Good View Resort: A Resort Offering Sightseeing, Photo Opportunities with Flocks of Sheep and Horses, a Restaurant, and a Cafe for Enjoying Coffee with a View.

Ambiance: Charming, with pleasant weather and panoramic 360-degree views of lush green meadows dotted with roaming horses and sheep. The resort boasts a Mediterranean-Balinese design aesthetic, evoking the enchanting atmosphere of New Zealand. The exposed concrete construction of each villa (a personal favorite) adds a touch of chicness, while the jacuzzi tubs offer a romantic setting for soaking in the breathtaking views.

Check room rates here. As of 20XX, prices start at (depending on the date of stay). This price is considered reasonable compared to the view.

The surrounding atmosphere is so charming that you'll fall in love with it at first sight. This area is adjacent to the restaurant (the same one where breakfast is served), offering stunning mountain views. You'll encounter horses and sheep roaming freely, providing opportunities for photography and feeding.

There are a total of 11 rooms, with the price for double rooms being the same across all rooms. The only difference is the style of decoration.

Note: We stayed in the Kaikoura room, which is surrounded by glass and sits right on a hilltop, offering stunning views (all rooms are the same price). The house has two floors, so during the day you can lie in bed and enjoy the view, and at night you can go upstairs and stargaze. Isn't that amazing?!

On the right-hand side, our white, round room sits atop a hill.

The view from the second floor is amazing (if it's not too hot, haha!).

The view tonight is amazing... Having a drink to change the atmosphere a bit, listening to some soft music. This is exactly what I needed...

Let's take a look at the atmosphere in front of the room... I can tell you, there's definitely some packing going on! ; p

Here are two more rooms for you to consider, especially if you prefer brown tones. :) We think they're beautiful, even more so than the room we stayed in, although our room had a slightly better view. ^^

Cardrona Room

Motueka Room

If you're seeking a refreshing escape with stunning mountain views and a chance to capture breathtaking photos for your profile, this is the perfect destination. The fresh air and scenic vistas will surely rejuvenate your spirit.

Goodbye for now! ^___^ Thank you so much! See you on the next trip.
