PasTry AddicTion and October Sky are conveniently located on the beachfront road. Coming from North Pattaya Beach, head straight until you reach the Mera Mare Hotel Pattaya. The restaurants are situated right in front of the hotel.

Next to the Pastry Addiction zone, which is located at the front of the road along Pattaya Beach, is the October Sky zone, which is the inner zone of the Mera Mare Hotel Pattaya.

The menus of the two restaurants are different. October Sky's menu features Thai fusion dishes that can be ordered with steamed rice or as snacks. The chef's cooking skills are excellent, and the dishes are delicious for both Thai and foreign customers.

Examples of October Sky's menu include roasted duck red curry, pork and minced pork clear soup, braised salmon salad with olive oil, green curry fish ball with salted egg, shrimp cake with passion fruit sauce, braised pork salad, seafood tom kha, pomelo salad with fried cheese wontons, stuffed pork leg served with steamed vegetables and XO sauce, lemongrass salad with tender pork, and fruit som tam served with crispy fish.

There are many other dishes available.

For our lunch today, we enjoyed a delicious "Spicy Roasted Duck Curry." The curry paste was perfectly balanced, not too spicy, and the flavors were harmonious, neither too sweet nor too salty. It was a delightful meal for two.

Crucially, add large grapes to the dish. Who would have thought that "adding grapes to a spicy curry would be so delicious"? But once it's done, it's incredibly tasty. How many grapes are in the bowl? We devoured them all.

The next menu item is a shrimp popiah served with tamarind sauce: the tamarind sauce is served in a very cool way, in a squeeze tube. What a great idea!

The final dish was a stir-fried vegetable dish, which was cooked to perfection and had a delicious flavor.

The seafood dipping sauce at October Sky is incredibly delicious. If you have crab, shrimp, or shellfish to dip in it, the flavor is truly exquisite.

The open kitchen at Pastry Addiction and October Sky in Mera Mare Hotel Pattaya is a clear highlight. The transparency allows diners to witness the meticulous preparation of their meals, ensuring cleanliness and culinary expertise. The kitchen's impeccable hygiene is evident.

From lunch, enjoy afternoon tea, and soak in the evening atmosphere. The sofa table offers a comfortable seating area with a view of the sea and beachgoers. As the sun begins to set, casting a warm glow over the ocean, the atmosphere within the restaurant transforms into a captivating spectacle. The soft glow of the evening lights illuminates the surroundings, creating an ambiance of tranquility and beauty.

Before dinner, let's have some afternoon tea. Our tea set this time is a Sandwiches and Savories set. Within this tea set, you can choose either tea or coffee. Our set is Jasmine Gold tea.

Today's tea is Jasmine Gold, a jasmine-scented tea that is very fragrant when you drink it. When you pour the tea out, it is indeed golden in color. Even after the first round of tea is finished, the aroma of jasmine remains when you add more hot water.

The sandwich and dessert set includes a variety of delicious options, including liver pate with crackers and tuna sandwiches. The set was priced at 399 baht when we visited.

In addition to the tea set, there are also a variety of cakes, breads, pastries, ice cream, and other beverages available for those who wish to dine in.

The restaurant also offers Japanese set menus, such as tempura set, teriyaki chicken set, and sushi sashimi set.

There are many other delicious dishes to choose from. The above are just a few examples of the menu items.

Dinner tonight

For our dinner tonight, we'll start with the Foccacia Italioan Sausage & Tomato Basil menu.

Focaccia, an Italian flatbread topped with Italian sausage, tomatoes, and basil, bears a resemblance to pizza. While focaccia is typically known for its thick, round shape, Pastry Addiction's version features a thin, crispy crust generously laden with toppings and cheese. Notably, the focaccia is served on a stone tray, emphasizing its substantial size compared to the plate it rests upon. As a pizza enthusiast, I was particularly impressed by this focaccia's combination of a thin crust, abundant toppings, and generous cheese. A single focaccia proved to be a satisfying meal, leaving us thoroughly content.

The next menu item is the Salmon Rillettes Open Sandwich, a smoked salmon and cod roe sandwich. The smoked salmon is mixed with cod roe and topped with a soft-boiled egg. It's truly delicious, I must say.

The final dish was a light salad of Beef Tataki Salad, grilled sirloin salad with Japanese soy sauce dressing.

After finishing my meal, I wanted to capture the beautiful evening atmosphere and share it with you. The ambiance was truly remarkable.
