I am a Japanese food enthusiast who appreciates the convenience of set meals. Having explored numerous restaurants, I have discovered that upscale establishments often come with hefty price tags. As someone who values affordability, I prioritize restaurants that offer value for money. One such establishment that I particularly enjoyed is TUNA ICHIBAN. The restaurant's appeal lies in its fresh ingredients and reasonable prices, as evidenced by the menu, which allows for ordering multiple dishes without breaking the bank.

Today, I went to work in the "Town in Town" area. After the meeting, I was a little hungry around noon, so I stopped by a shopping mall called "The Scene Town in Town" to find something quick to eat. I saw a Japanese restaurant called "TUNA ICHIBAN" on the second floor, and I was so impressed with it that I walked in without thinking twice.

TUNA ICHIBAN restaurant, this branch is medium-sized, comfortable to sit in. The young waiter brought the menu for us to choose from and gave us advice on what to order. He also mentioned that there is a special promotion going on. Wow! We were all ears. The promotion is that if you sign up for a membership card for only 100 baht, you will receive special privileges. For every 350 baht you spend, you will accumulate points that can be redeemed for discounts. For example, there is a special set menu right now that is normally priced at over 2,000 baht, but is now only 1,280 baht.

Don't hesitate, sign up for a membership card right away and check out the special promotion menu. It's incredibly enticing, with a wide variety of options. The most eye-catching is the colossal lobster, accompanied by a supporting cast of delectable dishes. Roughly speaking, without overthinking it, just the lobster alone would cost over a thousand baht. So, what a deal to get it with other accompanying dishes!

Japanese Steamed Egg The texture of the steamed egg is smooth and silky. The only critique is that the taste is a bit bland. If you prefer a stronger flavor, adding a dash of soy sauce should help.

Two-piece large sushi set, one piece with "Engawa" topping and the other with "Unagi" topping. The Engawa has a bouncy texture and a sweet, fresh taste.

Grilled Salmon Fin with Salt This dish features four pieces of salmon fin and belly meat.

Side dishes include scallop kimchi, tuna roe, and mashed potato salad.

Vegetable Tempura

The vegetable tempura was unremarkable, failing to meet the standards of typical tempura. The grated daikon radish was insufficient, disappearing entirely when added to the dipping sauce.

Spicy Salmon Skin Salad boasts a bold flavor profile, with crispy salmon skin that tantalizes the taste buds and stimulates the appetite. However, it is recommended to consume this dish promptly after ordering, as the salmon skin may lose its crispness over time.

5-Piece Sashimi Set This set is a favorite among Japanese food lovers and is a must-order. It includes five types of fish: salmon, tuna, mackerel, fresh scallops, and marinated saba. The taste is satisfying, but if you want more, you can always order more.

Lobster baked with white wine cheese Upon arrival, the only word that escaped my lips was "worth it." The lobster was huge, and I could see them swimming around in a tank in the restaurant, ensuring their freshness. The flavor was perfect, and all I needed was a squeeze of lemon to make it even better.

This set meal, priced at 1,280 baht, is a steal with the member card, costing only 100 baht. Frequent diners can accumulate points for further discounts. For example, the lobster dish on the à la carte menu costs 599 baht, but with the member card, it drops to 499 baht. A great deal!

"Lobster Feast: A Culinary Adventure" showcases vibrant images of lobsters swimming in tanks, tempting your taste buds. At such affordable prices, indulging in a lobster feast is no longer a luxury reserved for the wealthy. Take a break, savor succulent lobsters like an ordinary person, and share your photos on social media to make your friends envious. Why not?

This highly recommended Japanese restaurant, TUNA ICHIBAN, has multiple locations throughout the city. The branch featured in the "Eat Until Your Cheeks Bulge, Travel Everywhere" show is located on the 2nd floor of The Scene Town in Town shopping mall. With fresh, high-quality ingredients and affordable prices, this restaurant is a must-try for any sushi lover.
