Hello, I'm Gib from www.fallenforadventure.com (www.facebook.com/fallenforadventure).

Continuing from the previous episode where I took you to Lake Louise in Banff National Park, Alberta, Canada, today we will remain in Banff National Park for another day. There is so much to see, especially lakes! So today, let's visit two more lakes. 🙂

Moraine Lake is located just a short drive from Lake Louise, approximately 10 minutes away. The lake is easily accessible, with a walking distance of less than 5 minutes from the parking lot. The water at Moraine Lake is known for its vibrant turquoise color, which is even more striking than that of Lake Louise. Even on a cloudy day, the water retains its remarkable hue. This is a genuine, unfiltered image captured by the camera.

Moraine Lake

Despite the crowds visible from the parking lot, the popularity of this tourist destination is undeniable. By venturing deeper into the rock piles on the left and choosing a suitable rock, one can achieve the perspective shown above. Activities at Moraine Lake include boating and hiking trails around the lake. On the day of my visit, boating was unavailable due to rain and snowfall, so we opted for a short walk around the lake. However, the extreme cold, even during the summer season, cut our walk short.

For those who want to spend the night gazing at Moraine Lake, there is a hotel called Moraine Lake Lodge. It is located right next to the lake, offering stunning views from the comfort of your room. However, due to the limited number of rooms, booking in advance is highly recommended.

After visiting Moraine Lake, we will take you to another lake called Peyto Lake. This lake is famous for its milky blue water, which comes from the melting Peyto Glacier.

PEYTO LAKE, a turquoise lake, even without sunshine, the color is still this beautiful.

After parking the car, we walked up to the Lookout, which took only about 15-20 minutes. Today's adventure may not be as exciting, but as I mentioned, Canada is easy to travel around and suitable for all ages because everything is easily accessible like this.

Moraine Lake is only a 1 hour and 20-minute drive away. For those who don't enjoy long car rides, don't worry, the scenery along the way is truly breathtaking. This road, known as the Icefields Parkway, stretches for 232 kilometers and cuts through valleys, offering stunning views of the Canadian Rockies. It connects two national parks, Banff National Park and Jasper National Park, and is a popular spot for wildlife sightings. You're sure to be captivated by the diverse landscapes and potential animal encounters.

Imagine the breathtaking views while driving on the Icefields Parkway on a sunny day.

A herd of bighorn sheep appeared in front of the car.

I would love to sit here all day, sipping coffee and reading a book.

Every stop is a picturesque scene.

Throughout our trip, we had a mission to spot a bear. We were thrilled to be the ones who spotted this Black Bear, which was adorably munching on flowers.

The adorable animals strutted their stuff right next to the car.

The mere thought of writing about Canada fills me with immense longing. It is a truly laid-back country, and for animal lovers, it is an absolute paradise.
