This small travel page collects tourist attractions that I have visited. Page: Fun Trip

The suspension bridge across the Mae Kuang Udomthara Dam channel was built to connect the channel between the Mae Kuang Udomthara Dam and Ban Pa Sak Ngam, Luang Nuea Subdistrict, Doi Saket District, Chiang Mai Province, which has been cut off from the main road since the dam was built more than 41 years ago. The bridge is becoming a beautiful viewpoint, a new landmark of Chiang Mai Province. In the near future, it will be a favorite of many tourists because it offers beautiful views and can see a 360-degree wide angle. It was officially opened on July 7, 2017. I visited on July 15, 2017, and there were motorcycles and people crossing the bridge.

If you are coming from the main road, take the Chiang Mai-Doi Saket-Mae Kuang Udomthara Dam-Chiang Rai route. However, we took the San Sai-Doi Saket route because we were running late.

Upon reaching the dam, we were greeted by a lush expanse of verdant trees.

Let's stop by the dam crest for a moment; it's still as beautiful as ever.

Continuing on to the suspension bridge, descend from the main dam crest, pass the Mae Kuang Udomthara Dam Project Office, and turn towards the pier on the other side of the dam crest.

The view from this side of the dam is also very beautiful.

I see a suspension bridge in the distance. ^^

The access road is still gravel, but small cars can drive through.

The road is a gravel path for about two hundred meters. It is narrow, so please drive carefully.

By the side of the road.

We have arrived at the suspension bridge.

This suspension bridge is 3.50 meters wide, 166 meters long, and has a maximum height of 24 meters from the base to the sling beam. It is the longest suspension bridge in Chiang Mai province. The bridge is windy and sways slightly, so those who are afraid of heights should be prepared.

The scenery on both sides of the bridge is beautiful.

It will be quite high and swingy, a bit windy.

The two sides are so beautiful.

Lush forest

Visiting Chiang Mai? Don't miss the longest suspension bridge in the city, offering stunning panoramic views.
