There is much more to this place than meets the eye.

Today, I will be your guide, taking you on a journey to explore and learn more about Khiriwong Village.

Our trip to Nakhon Si Thammarat was made possible by Air Asia.

AirAsia operates four daily flights between Bangkok and Nakhon Si Thammarat. We opted for the earliest morning flight.

Let's start checking in and enjoy our trip to the fullest!

There will only be counters for baggage drop-off. We must check in through the check-in kiosk and then print the ticket at the kiosk.

It takes 1 hour and 10 minutes to reach Nakhon Si Thammarat.

Upon arrival, we rented a car from Thai Rent a Car for our road trip.

The Keeree Wong village is located within a 30-minute drive from the airport.

Alternatively, for those who prefer not to drive, shared songthaews are available from Nakhon Si Thammarat city center.

Upon arrival, take a photo with the bridge, the landmark of this place... Otherwise, they say you haven't arrived. Haha!

The air here is refreshingly clean and cool. Everywhere you look, the lush greenery is a feast for the eyes.

All generations, from children to adults, can come and relax. Another charm of Baan Kiriwong is playing in the stream that flows through the property.

A slow-paced life amidst a natural atmosphere that is truly relaxing and promotes a slow-life lifestyle. I love it!

The water here is refreshingly cool, the air is pleasantly mild, and the atmosphere is invigorating. When it rains, mist floats through the valleys, creating a truly magical experience.

Khiriwong Village boasts stunning natural scenery and is recognized as a model OTOP village.

As a result, a large number of tourists, particularly young adults, have visited the Kiriwong village.

Therefore, they have invented souvenirs for tourists to buy as mementos to take home.

Our first stop will be the Lace Group, where you can admire hand-made crafts created from braided candle wicks and auspicious lace.

The company currently serves a diverse clientele from various countries and also offers educational opportunities for those interested in tie-dyeing.

The final group we will visit to see the villagers' handiwork is the Natural Dye Batik Group.

After browsing the renowned OTOP products of Ban Kiree Wong, we returned to our accommodation.

On the first night, we stayed at Ganta Hill Resort Lan Saka, located at the entrance to Ban Kiriwong, for 600 baht per night.

The local cuisine here is exceptional, featuring authentic dishes from Ban Kiriwong in Nakhon Si Thammarat province. Food enthusiasts, don't miss out!

Today's menu features braised pork leg soup, mangosteen sour curry, coconut-infused fiddlehead fern, and vegetable chili dip with blanched vegetables.

Our top recommendations are the braised pork leg soup and the mangosteen sour curry. These two dishes are exceptional and a must-try.

At Kanata Hill, there is also a coffee shop available for guests and passers-by to stop by and enjoy.

This location is considered another interesting accommodation option due to its comprehensive services, including a restaurant, lodging, and a café.

Located near Kiree Wong Village and the city, this affordable accommodation starts at just 600 baht.


On the morning of the 2nd, we woke up early to cycle and breathe in the fresh morning air.

This area boasts scenic cycling routes, offering breathtaking views of mountains and lush nature.

For cycling enthusiasts, this is another natural route that is worth a visit.

Guaranteed fun with plenty of hills to play on, covering a distance of approximately 7 kilometers.

On the second day, we started our morning with a delicious breakfast at Auntie Kiew's Rice Noodles Restaurant, a must-try spot in Ban Kiriwong.

The restaurant boasts a lush banana grove, creating a tranquil ambiance. It offers a buffet of "khanom jeen," a traditional Thai noodle dish.


After finishing our meal, it's time to explore the nearby attractions!

Phrom Lok Waterfall, Phrom Khiri District is located just 30 minutes from Ban Kiriwong.

This is a large waterfall with a wide rock platform and a natural pool-like basin.

This waterfall has a total of 50 tiers, but only 4 tiers are open to tourists.

These include Nan Wang Bon Nam Won, Nan Wang Mai Pak, Nan Wang Hua Bua, and Nan Wang Ai Lae.

In the past, His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej (Rama IX) and Her Majesty Queen Sirikit...

In 1959, His Majesty the King visited the magnificent Phrom Lok Waterfall.

The inscription of the royal initials "ภ.ป.ร" and "ส.ก." on the cliff face of the first waterfall tier.

The water at this waterfall is crystal clear and refreshingly cool, teeming with a diverse array of fish species.

However, the water here can be turbulent, and swimming is prohibited in certain areas.

Nearby, there is another spot for swimming and fish feeding called Wang Pla Ngae.

For those who enjoy cafes with stunning views and opportunities for stylish and cool photos, the Lanska district also boasts cafes with breathtaking vistas.

Nestled in a small house amidst the mountains, this coffee shop boasts breathtaking panoramic views, making it the perfect spot to capture stunning photographs.

On the second night, we stayed at the Ban Kiriwong Homestay in Ban Kiriwong.

Accommodation options include private rooms and shared rooms with the owner. Bicycles are available for rent.

The atmosphere is relaxed, friendly, and casual. The owner, Ms. A, provides excellent service.

It also provides valuable information about the community. Those seeking a relaxing getaway will find it ideal.

Consider a relaxing getaway amidst nature. Let go of your worries and immerse yourself in the tranquility of the surroundings.

Engage in conversations with strangers to gain novel experiences that may not be found elsewhere.

Before departing from Ban Ki Ri Wong, we made a final stop to try some delicious local delicacies.

At Thara Thib Restaurant, a rice-with-curry eatery located by the roadside, the space is quite spacious.

If you're visiting Ban Kiriwong, be sure to try the local cuisine. The flavors are truly exceptional.

The food at Baan Keeree Wong is another must-try, offering an exceptional dining experience.


This concludes our 3-day, 2-night trip itinerary to Khao Kiri Wong, Nakhon Si Thammarat.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time relaxing and immersing myself in nature. It was a truly rejuvenating experience.
