Typically, people invite me to join activities, eat, or whatever. But this time, they invited me to a cat party. What? And it's at a fancy place too! It's being held at Lady L Garden Bistro at Nai Lert Park Heritage Home, and Mint Chalida Vijitvongthong and Punjan Prama Im-Anothai will be there too.

Now that you've been invited, let's get started. Don't worry, it's definitely cat food. That's because this event is "Meow Chalin Season 2," a fun activity for cat lovers to enjoy a special mealtime with their feline companions. This is a great event hosted by Fancy Feast, a premium cat food product with delicious, specially-made menus imported from the United States. Each menu is carefully prepared to give your cat a unique taste and texture experience. This is the second year the event has been held, building on the overwhelming success of last year.

The event boasts an exclusive gala dinner atmosphere, featuring a luxurious "Exclusive Dinner" concept. A pink carpet welcomes guests and their feline companions, leading them to a meticulously prepared meal. Each dish draws inspiration from the nine flavors of Fancy Feast, ensuring a delightful culinary experience for both humans and their furry friends. Expert chefs have carefully crafted each dish using premium ingredients, guaranteeing a taste that will tantalize both palates.

One of the highlights of the event was the first public appearance of "Pui Fah," the beloved cat of actor Panjan "Pramote" Pattanasethanan. Panjan adopted Pui Fah after finding her injured on Ekamai Road. The veterinarian diagnosed Pui Fah with a fractured hip and nerve damage that could have resulted in paralysis and incontinence. However, after two to three months of intensive care, Pui Fah miraculously regained her ability to walk.

The Persian cat has a fierce face, always the same.

Mint Chalida, attending the Meow Chalin event for the second time, brought along "Kamilia," one of her beloved cats, to make her debut at the event. Kamilia, a 2-year-old Persian cat, is the youngest of Mint's four cats and is known for her playful personality. Her favorite food is wet food, as she always runs to it when she smells its enticing aroma.

Nine lucky participants who joined the Fancy Feast event through www.facebook.com/FancyFeastThailand had the opportunity to dine with Punjan and Mint, savoring the exquisite menu prepared by Fancy Feast for both humans and cats. The event also featured activities to strengthen the bond between cat lovers and their feline companions, as well as awards for outstanding cat owners who demonstrate exceptional love and care for their cats. These awards included "Most Affectionate Owner," "Most Playful Owner," and "Most Adorable Owner," reflecting the diverse personalities of cat lovers.

After the cat food, it's time to try some human food. Today, the organizers have prepared a cocktail buffet for us. It's a luxurious and extravagant cocktail party. The cocktails are served in individual portions on slate trays. Of course, I went to lift one, and it was incredibly heavy. No wonder the waiters are all muscular.

The Hokkaido scallop sashimi with wasabi sauce features plump, tender, and exceptionally fresh scallops. The subtle saltiness of the caviar complements the bold, aromatic wasabi sauce, creating a delightful flavor combination.

Parma ham and pickled olives served on bread. The salty flavor of the Parma ham contrasts with the pickled olives, making for an enjoyable snack. The only drawback is that the bread underneath was quite hard, likely due to being exposed to the air conditioning for an extended period.

Passion Fruit Roasted Duck: While we're accustomed to orange sauce for roasted duck, this passion fruit iteration delivers a delightful twist. The tangy, refreshing notes of the sauce perfectly complement the sweet, aromatic flavors of the roasted duck. Unlike some sauces, passion fruit doesn't overpower the duck's natural taste and aroma. This dish truly deserves a standing ovation. The duck meat is incredibly tender.

The zucchini and egg salad is refreshing, but the taste of zucchini and egg salad can often be bland. Especially for those who do not like Western food, they may not like this dish. However, the zucchini is very fresh and juicy.

This is a backup tray. It contains ham and cheese sandwiches, which were served later because many people did not enjoy the Western-style food. However, I personally enjoyed it and would have been happy to have it served continuously without interruption.

Let's move on to dessert, the almond cake. It's made with crushed almonds pressed into pieces, sprinkled with sliced almonds and dark chocolate. The taste is good, delicious, sweet, salty, and nutty. The only downside is that the texture is a bit dense and hard.

Berry Tart

This delightful dessert offers a refreshing and flavorful experience. The creamy sauce provides a sweet and rich base, perfectly balanced by the tangy sweetness of fresh berries. The bite-sized portions make it easy to enjoy, and the accompanying plain water or carbonated beverages complement the dish without overpowering its delicate flavors.

Overall, the food tastes good and the colors are beautiful, but there is a lack of variety. However, the restaurant is a casual place to eat burgers and chill out with coffee. But hey, if there was a plate of duck rice, it would be perfect.
