Parusawan Palace VS Police Museum

Parus Palace (Chitralada Royal Villa) is open to the public for free. In addition to admiring the beauty of the palace, from today until September 30, 2017, there is a small exhibition called "Jakrabandh Exhibition". It tells the story of His Royal Highness Prince Chakrabongse Bhuvanath, the Prince of Pisanulok, and Mom Luang Katrin na Pisanulok. The exhibition is located on the 1st and 2nd floors of Parus Palace. "No photography is allowed inside the exhibition rooms," according to signs posted in every room. However, I still saw many groups using their mobile phones to take pictures without regard for those around them. We should respect the rules, just like in many museums abroad where photography is prohibited in over 90% of the exhibits. After all, if you can take pictures, who will go see the real thing? (P.S. Photography is allowed in the hallway.)

Path to the Police Museum

Behind the Paruskavan Palace, there is a Police Museum, which is also open to the public for free. Currently, there is an exhibition on the 100th anniversary of Siam and World War I, and photography is allowed. In addition to the exhibition, the second floor of the Police Museum provides a comprehensive account of the history of the Thai police, from the past to the present, with various interactive exhibits for both fun and learning.

The Police Museum's first floor will host an exhibition titled "A Century of Comfort with World War I."
