Situated in the heart of Bangkok's bustling business district on Sukhumvit Road, The Landmark Bangkok is renowned for its exceptional dim sum. Led by Chef Ming, who boasts over 25 years of experience in Chinese cuisine, the restaurant offers an unparalleled dim sum experience. The Sui Sian Chinese restaurant is beautifully decorated in red and black tones, with a Fu Lu Shou doll displayed in the center of the dining room.

The spacious dining room features several large round tables, accommodating up to 180 guests. Smaller tables are also available for intimate gatherings of two. Today, our party of four opted for a larger table to accommodate the abundance of dishes we planned to order. After all, it's a buffet, so why not go all out?

A small table for two is also available.

For privacy or family gatherings, private rooms are available for reservation.

Let's explore the extensive buffet menu, offering over 40 delectable dim sum options. Indulge in familiar favorites like shrimp dumplings, shrimp and pork siu mai, seaweed-wrapped shrimp, red pork buns, custard buns, shrimp and vegetable balls, fried taro dumplings, steamed pork ribs with fermented black beans, and a plethora of other tantalizing choices.

Let's take a look at the appearance and taste of the food we tried.

Jade shrimp dumplings are served in large pieces with plenty of bouncy shrimp. I ordered an extra serving because I love shrimp.

Steamed pork dumplings have a firm texture and the pork is springy, but personally, I prefer shrimp.

Shrimp Hakka with large, satisfying shrimp pieces.

Steamed bun with red pork filling, large size, standard delicious taste. However, we did not eat much because we were afraid of getting full and not being able to eat other things.

Cream bun, large size, generous cream filling, delicious.

The scallop shumai is good, according to my mother's taste test.

Fried shrimp with cream salad

Steamed Chinese Cabbage Rolls with Shrimp: These rolls are generously filled with shrimp, making them a perfect choice for shrimp lovers.

Mixed-filling rolled noodles

Red pork rolled noodles

Shrimp balls with Paksobhon vegetables The texture of the shrimp balls is very bouncy and the shrimp is the main ingredient.

Shrimp-stuffed goldfish

Crispy Shrimp Noodle Rolls This is one of our favorite dishes. The large shrimp are perfectly crispy and not greasy at all.

Steamed pork ribs with fermented soybeans The pork is tender and flavorful.

Deep-fried Tofu Pockets with Shrimp Filling

Crispy Fried Taro: Deep-fried to golden perfection, these taro slices are delightfully crispy without a trace of oiliness.

Deep-fried shrimp dumplings with a generous filling of succulent shrimp. The dumplings are fried to a perfect crisp, achieving a satisfying crunch without any excess oil. This is a personal favorite dish.

This dish, whose name I cannot recall, appears to be fried mushrooms with a slightly salty and spicy flavor.

Fried Turnip Cake

Fried Garlic Chives are delicious, and we also enjoy them.

Soup Category: Choose one soup per person from the following options: Sichuan Seafood Soup, Bamboo Shoot Soup, and Fish Maw Soup in Red Sauce.

The fish maw in red sauce had generous ingredients but lacked flavor, requiring additional seasoning sauce. Personally, I prefer the Sichuan soup.

Rice and Noodle Category

This category offers two options, each for one person:

  • Fluffy Vegetarian Fried Rice
  • Wide Rice Noodles with Seafood Gravy

This is a special menu item that is not included in the buffet. The chef made it for you to try.

The menu offers a wide variety of dishes, but we were unable to sample them all as we were already full from our current order.

The overall taste of the food is delicious. The quality of the ingredients is good. There is a wide variety of dishes to choose from, with over 40 menu items. The service from the staff is excellent. They are attentive and constantly refill food and drinks. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is spacious and not cramped. Getting to the hotel is convenient. For those who do not have a car or do not want to risk getting stuck in traffic, traveling by BTS is very convenient. It is suitable for those who like dim sum and Chinese food.

In addition, the Sunday lunch buffet will feature special dishes such as crispy pork, Peking duck, and roast suckling pig.
