The train journey began in a very relaxed atmosphere. It was fantastic, to say the least.

The journey itself can be just as beautiful as the destination.

Upon arriving in Chiang Mai, I immediately rented a motorbike and headed to my accommodation. My intention for this trip is to fully relax and escape the hustle and bustle of city life.

Homemade bread with various fruits, yogurt, honey, homemade berry jam, and pineapple jam.
Breakfast was a bit better, with homegrown vegetables and a clean menu. After breakfast, we set off for Doi Inthanon.

The first stop was Vachirathan Waterfall, where the abundant water and cool mist hitting my face instantly washed away my fatigue.

A must-visit location is Ban Mae Klang Luang, where you can admire the stunning green rice terraces that will leave you feeling refreshed. Don't forget to stop by Brother Somsak's coffee shop, where he grows, dries, roasts, grinds, brews, and enjoys his own coffee.

The mist is thick, with many chickens clucking. Finally, we meet. It is now 8:30 AM and the temperature is 15 degrees.

The sea of mist still lingers, even though it is now past 10:30 am.

After taking this picture, I put down my camera and stood there, gazing at the view before me. Letting my mind wander with the wind, I allowed myself to be absorbed by nature, recharging my batteries before continuing my journey to Ang Ka Luang.

The Ang Ka Nature Trail: A Journey Through Ancient Forests on Doi Inthanon

The Ang Ka Nature Trail, also known as Ang Ka Luang, is nestled within the Doi Inthanon National Park in Chiang Mai, Thailand. This enchanting path, adorned with diverse plant life, is often referred to as a "primeval forest" due to its ancient and untouched character.

Spanning nearly 300 meters, the wooden bridge that guides visitors through the trail offers a captivating experience. Despite its relatively short length, the Ang Ka Nature Trail is brimming with beauty and wonder. The air is refreshingly cool, reminiscent of a rainforest, and the surrounding moss adds a touch of mystique to the scenery.

The bridge itself becomes a canvas for nature's artistry, with vibrant moss clinging to its edges and railings, creating a picturesque backdrop for photographs. When a gentle rain graces the trail, the scene transforms into an even more breathtaking spectacle.

The Ang Ka Nature Trail is a testament to the awe-inspiring beauty of Doi Inthanon National Park. It invites visitors to immerse themselves in the tranquility of ancient forests, offering a glimpse into a world untouched by time.

The scenery along the way is lush and green, with a cool and humid atmosphere.
