At this moment, no one would not know "Kept Bangsaray", the hottest new resort of 2017, which has just opened in July 2017. It's brand new. We've only seen pictures of the water villas, which have been stuck in our minds since the first time we saw them, as if we were on the island of Maldives. Many people may not know where Bang Saray is. It's a simple 2-hour drive from Bangkok towards Pattaya, just before reaching Sattahip. Upon arrival, it feels like entering another world, a stark contrast to the vibrant city of Pattaya. Follow the map below or simply type "Kept Bang Saray" into Google Maps and you'll find your way there without getting lost.

Upon entering the Bang Saen community, the scent of a historic fishing village wafts through the air. The hotel's design is both beautiful and unique, piquing one's curiosity. There are tuk-tuks available to transport tourists to various locations in the area. Bicycles are also available for rent, and the hotel is happy to lend them out.

The lobby is adorned in white and blue, transporting guests to an undersea realm. The cool air greets you as you enter, and the front desk awaits your check-in.

There are many common areas to relax and unwind, with captivating views in every direction.

A refreshing welcome drink of red soda, served with a cool towel, is perfect for the hot and sunny weather of Thailand.

Fun Zone: A recreational area perfect for friends and families to enjoy various activities. The space features pool tables, foosball tables, and a charming nautical-themed decor, complete with oars and anchors, creating an immersive experience reminiscent of being on a ship at sea.

We arrived an hour before check-in time today. Let's take a walk and enjoy the view. I've seen pictures of this place many times, and the view is truly stunning. The giant yellow duck floating in the middle of the sea-view swimming pool against the clear blue sky is simply breathtaking. Even the heat is worth it!

This place offers a wide variety of seating and lounging options, making it an ideal spot to relax and unwind, especially during the evening hours.

This zone's accommodations are likely the resort's highlight. The Kept Water Villa room type, consisting of three spherical villas situated amidst the water, resembles the iconic Maldivian villas. The villas feature panoramic glass walls with retractable curtains, creating the illusion of floating on the water.

Step out of the room and directly into the pool. It's like a 3-in-1 experience, offering a water villa, pool access, and sea view all in one.

The sea here is beautifully calm, the water is green, and the atmosphere is so bright today. Sitting and watching the fishing boats sail slowly, not in a hurry, is the best way to recharge your body.

A hidden gem nestled within the quaint fishing village of Bang Saray, it's hard to believe it's only a 2-hour drive from Bangkok. A perfect after-work getaway, I've fallen head over heels for this place.

The building faces the sea, guaranteeing a sea view from every room. As soon as you wake up and step out onto the balcony, you'll be greeted by the ocean. It would be nice to wake up to this every day, but alas, it's just a dream. Haha!

Although there is no beach to walk on here, there is an Indian sand court, making it feel like nothing is missing. White and blue beach beds are placed on the soft white sand, giving you the feeling of the sea, the sea.

The "Kept Suite" is a spacious room measuring 56 square meters. Let's explore what's inside! The bed is pristine white with plenty of pillows, perfect for a relaxing stay. A large LCD TV is mounted on the wall opposite the bed, and it can be pulled out and adjusted for viewing. This space-saving feature is both practical and stylish.

At the foot of the bed, there is a daybed for lounging or napping. No one will mind.

A small working desk corner is paired with a vintage wooden cabinet, but inside it hides a refrigerator, glasses, plates, bowls, and a small mini-bar.

Complimentary tea and coffee are available. Feel free to enjoy them at no additional cost.

The breathtaking view instantly erased all fatigue and the scorching heat. I was completely captivated and reluctant to leave. I could have stayed there all day.

This is a paradise for ocean lovers like us. Soaking in the pool while gazing at the sea... it's pure bliss.

Another menu item, "**Wind Breeze**," is more suitable for women like us. Hehe, it's sour and spicy, topped with various berries on ice... refreshing.

"น้ำพริกมันปู" is presented in a charming way, served in a small mortar. The menu's creative presentation is commendable. It is accompanied by crispy catfish, fresh vegetables, and various blanched vegetables. This is our favorite dish, and its authentic Thai flavors are sure to please.

"Tang-แตก Fried Egg" evokes memories of the "Tang-แตก" dessert I enjoyed as a child, with its overflowing filling. It comes with a choice of chili paste or chili sauce, allowing you to customize your experience.

"Jungle Curry with Indo-Pacific King Mackerel"

This jungle curry offers a balanced flavor profile, avoiding excessive spiciness. The accompanying broth allows you to adjust the intensity to your preference, whether you desire a generous amount of sauce or a thicker consistency. The dish is infused with the subtle aroma of Thai spices and herbs.

It is said that the deliciousness of a meal depends on the company you share it with. However, in this case, all the elements were perfect: the view, the taste of the food, and the company. Thank you, Khao Bang Saen, for the wonderful memories we made during our dinner tonight.

At Khao Kheab Bangsaen, we consider it to be another beautiful sunset viewing spot. You can sit and watch from the dining table. This is actually the rainy season, and the weather forecast said there would be monsoons. But it seems like luck is on our side, the sky and rain are so cooperative. So I was able to capture every moment for my friends. The sky turned purple-pink. Oh my, it's so beautiful.

Let's take a quick peek inside the Kept Marine restaurant. The decor is beautiful and perfectly captures the fishing village theme. The decorations are adorable, and every detail has been carefully considered.

The "Bar & Cocktails" zone is also available, located next to the sandy area. You can relax on a sun lounger and sip on a drink, or sit at the bar and chat with friends.

Upon returning to the room, the housekeeper had thoughtfully turned down the bed and prepared it for sleep. Additionally, a sweet treat of chocolates for two was thoughtfully placed on the bedside table.

Waking up to a new day, I was filled with anticipation, wondering if it would rain. But to my relief, the skies remained clear, despite the slightly overcast morning. As I stepped out onto the balcony, I sipped my coffee and gazed at the sea, feeling a sense of contentment.

The Main Pool, the communal swimming pool, is open from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. This morning, the weather is pleasant and there is no sun yet. So, let's lie down and enjoy the view on the little duck float. I secretly came to swim at 7 AM today, haha!

After swimming, I took a leisurely stroll on the wooden bridge. The morning air was so refreshing, it truly invigorated me.

For breakfast, we can eat at the Kebmarine Restaurant, a seafood restaurant with a beautiful ocean view. You can choose to sit inside in the air conditioning or outside on the terrace with a stunning view of the sea.

Tea and coffee can be ordered from the staff... This morning, I'd like a cold latte to refresh myself first.

The egg menu is à la carte, meaning you can order as many dishes as you like. Unlike most hotels that limit guests to one egg dish per person, here you can indulge in an "ALL YOU CAN EAT" experience. It's fantastic!

We stumbled upon a menu item that we had never seen before, "Egg Spanish." So, we decided to give it a try.

The dish resembled an omelet, but thicker and fluffier, with a generous amount of melted cheese. The accompanying side dish of crispy ham and bacon complemented the dish perfectly. As a cheese enthusiast, I thoroughly enjoyed this dish.

The buffet also includes a variety of breads, butter, and fruit jams.

A variety of fruit juices, fresh milk for children, or even cereal are available.

It's time to return to reality. During my two-day, one-night stay at Cape Ban Srae, I was thoroughly impressed. From the moment I stepped through the door, I was captivated by the unique decor, which perfectly complements the historic fishing community of Ban Srae. Despite offering all the modern amenities, the hotel不忘 to preserve and incorporate the community's identity. It was a perfect blend of relaxation and cultural immersion, living up to its slogan:
