Grand Opening Party 2017

For 15 years, the Italian restaurant La Scala at the Sukhothai Hotel has been dedicated to providing world-class dining experiences to over 220,000 people. The restaurant has hosted renowned chefs, including Michelin-starred and celebrity chefs from around the world. Recently, the restaurant has undergone a complete renovation designed by a Japanese architect, taking over 6 months to complete. To celebrate this significant transformation, the restaurant is hosting a special La Scala Grand Opening Party. I was honored to be invited to this momentous event.

This grand and extraordinary event naturally attracted a distinguished guest list, including high-level hotel executives and prominent celebrities from various industries.

The culinary offerings at the event will feature a delectable selection of tapas-style dishes, showcasing a harmonious blend of aesthetic appeal and exquisite flavors. These culinary creations, crafted by renowned Chef David Tamburini, will tantalize the palate with their diverse and nuanced flavors.

The beverage selection is equally impressive, with a new, cheerful bartender who creates flavorful and well-balanced drinks that perfectly complement the cuisine.

The lively and friendly atmosphere, combined with the beautifully redesigned decor, will be featured in a full review of the restaurant soon. We would like to thank the management and staff of the Sukhothai Hotel for their hospitality. We would also like to thank Chef David Tamburini and his team for the delicious food and drinks. For those who have been waiting for the return of La Scala, the world-class Italian restaurant is now open.
